Vincent shares some of his observations with Aisling, his wife, and the two make a plan how to proceed. Since most of the things they decide fell out of Vicents specialty, they have decide to proceed as follows:

Vincent would continue his loafing around the village of Uhm, watching it for any disturbances or anything out of the ordinary. He would take note of any red robed monk activity outside of the town, but would not directly talk or do anything else towards them.

Aisling has agreed to shadow the three tradesmen and try to locate and/or identify the contents of the crates shipped into the town. She would listen in on any conversation between the tradesmen and the one currently filling in the role of mayor to determine their plans, using her natural talent for shadows and hiding.

If at all possible, either of them would try to contact one of the red robed monks without any of the villagers watching and request a meeting somewhere neutral, a populated area, but out of eyesight of the Uhm populace not to bring more suspicion to them then they already have.

Aisling managed to look just a bit less then grim as she made her way to the Orchard to leave an acknowledgement of a letter received and a dinner invitation. Next she moved to the docks, offering light conversation as she looked for any sign of crates she was told about.

Quietly, she moved through town, doing her best to keep her shoulders straight, head high and lips upturned into something short of a scowl. She remained alert, taking note of any change in behavior, still seeking any who might have lost faith in the 'traditions' of Uhm and the men who were upholding them. After spending the morning in wandering and quiet observation she moves to her rooftop again, keeping an eye on the various travelers, especially watching for any sign of the red robed monks.

A small dark figure, elfin in shape and Drowish in skin when it's seen, knocks on Aisling and Vincent's door. When she's let in, the only thing Irae says is...

"I have an idea..."

Rumors of a flurry of activity in Kohlingen centered around the Keep. Sir Justin Fairfax is seen moving with great speed and portalling when possible. In west Kohlingen he has enlisted the the Exorcist in his journey.

Later the Exorcist would return somewhat shaken to his place near the gate in west Kohlingen. Later still a bloodied Sir Justin and Squire Bizane would be seen taking what may be remains to the graveyard. There they arrange a puneral pyre to cremate those same remains the ashes of which are then buried.

They then return to the keep and get cleaned up.

Lady Emma has taken to making sure she has cast "Protection against Evil" on herself before she goes to sleep, along with prayers to Mystra that her gifting not be "blocked" by malicious intent.

She tries to open herself up to any information on the situation in Uhm, but asks the goddess that it be "in time to do something about it."

She seems tired around the eyes, but resigned to do her duty.

Specifically, her thoughts and prayers focus on "rooting at the heart of the matter," --Ra-Fa-So-La? With her protection spell in place, the word held in her mind, she goes to sleep again, though not an easy sleep regardless of whether she has another vision or not.

A curious pair show up in the western outskirt of Kohlingen. Two well-to-do citizens coming from a day-trip to the Delta have returned in most unseemly attire. The pair are nearly covered from head-to-toe in white downy gull-feathers, stuck to their clothes with pitch.

The Kohlingen aristocrats claim that they were beset by an angry mob of unwashed masses in the village of Uhm on their way home from a vacation at the Swamp Casino. The common rubbish then committed the unthinkable atrocity of tar-and-feathering the duo. Aside from a few painful scalds and devastated pride, the pair were let go unharmed.

Nonetheless the two loudly demand the immediate destruction of Uhm and summary execution of all who make dwelling there; no stone left upon stone and their fields and orchards ploughed and sowed with salt etc.

A weary Aisling returns home to Uhm after a grueling few days of travel to distribute books and notices where ever she is able. With her eyes half-lidded and half blinded with sheer exhaustion, she stumbles into bed to find a peaceful night's sleep. Blissfully unaware of any happenings, real or contrived, in or around her home.

*The Grandmaster does not seem to understand why would a noble pair hang around in the casino and especially does not understand reason why would they take the land route instead of the sea route from Warftown. However, he seems to be concerned by the events and writes a letter to the usurper of Uhm.*

*A white-hair man with golden eyes and grey armor with the tabbard of the Eternal Oder offers his services as a undertaker to the Mayor, in person. However, if not possible doing Mayor's schedule, a letter describing his skills, his connection to the Eternal Order and his oath to Kelemvor would be described along with his wish to properly take care of any fallen citizen or traveler. He would claim that in trouble times, the proper care of the fallen bodies would be neglected, and he would be there to guarantee their rights must to be respected, without any additional cost, of course.*
