Dark Immolation

*An extremely gritty drawing of a man with an orb of electricity in his hand(perhaps a Scintillating Sphere) and a longsword in the other. The message that follows is written in Common, Elven, and Draconic.*

Hail and Blessings of the Weave,

I am offering three (3) brave souls the opportunity to assist me and as well allow me to assist them. Three brave souls that in their heart of hearts wish to be nothing more than to be the best spellsword or battlemage that their mortal body may allow. These three shall be taught and tutored by me in a way never before seen on this isle, nay even in my own organization of such. These three shall be my prodigy, trained and challenged in the traditional method I underwent in my youth.

This offer is not available to any current members of the Honorable Serpent or Academy of the Mystic Blade or any that have had formal training in the art of the Spellsword. These three shall be specifically my own to teach and shall aid me in my experimentation upon the bounds and parameters of the Art as a whole. Participants must be of wizardous or sorcerous inclination. Cantomancers[bards] are not to be considered. There is no price or fee associated with this tutelage, except the caveats that follow.

What you must accept:

-The guarantee of at least one Death*.
-The high likelihood of many more**.
-To be pushed to your limits. And then dragged a mile beyond them.
-My word as it is ordered.
-My advice as it is offered.
-A considerable amount of pain, physical discomfort, and mental anguish.

What you may expect:

-A capable and experienced instructor with sincere concern for your learning, safety, and growth as a spellsword.
-Knowledge beyond the ken of most that share your ambition.
-To find in yourself that thing for which most still search.
-Self-confidence and mindfulness.
-To become stronger than you could imagine.
-To become more insightful than you fathom.
-To gain the ability to analyze and at least survive against any threat that may cross your path.

In the case that this proves too difficult, a letter may as well be left for me through Speedy's Delivery Service. DO NOT leave a message here, as such will not be checked or considered. To those that come forth, the Gods bless you for your ambition and I look forward to helping you achieve your fullest potential.

*The event in which the soul of a living creature leaves its host(body). The particular event of Death referenced is used as a learning experience and the participant will be revived soon after. It is the moment immediately before and immediately following that are the true value of this lesson.
**Many of the situations the participant will be subjected to will have the risk of bodily injury or Death. In the event of either, they shall be remedied by the instructor with prudence, forgoing what is used for the purpose of learning.

If there is more than one notice posted at the Monolith, all but one finds itself removed. The remaining notice is moved to a central pillar on the bottom floors, well within view of a guardian construct, which would appear to have orders to keep an 'eye' on the posted parchment.

Any further notices of this nature by the Honorable Serpent are removed. Its poster noted by the guardians.

*The posters in the Tower, Dale and Tarkuul would appear to have spontaneously combusted at around the same time. Anyone witnessing the short event would see no one had touched them to do so. Perhaps they were enchanted to do such on their own at a certain time.

A new poster appears in the midst of Wiltun, however...*

I must clarify, again, that this is in no way directly affiliated with the name of the Honorable Serpent. The actions and training offered here are of my own accord. This venture has no formal backing nor recognition from the Organization. Its participants are simply that: participants. I hope this clarifies something that should have been obvious. Anyone who claims otherwise is sorely mistaken and presumably embittered. This is my own experiment in the bounds of mortal and Weave. Not a recruitment effort.

*After two days, all of the posters, and addendums, would combust as the first ones did, leaving no ash.*
