Kudos to our horde of pint-sized coppers for giving Stormy someone to intimidate the everliving shit out of.

So, I had a lot of fun in the Dale last night.

So, kudos to all the halflings in the vile Council of Brandobaris and their mindless devotion to the Hin Empress, Ever-Mayor Rosary Gooblefins

Hats off to the Halflings yet again. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for making my time so far as Flynn very enjoyable. We laugh, we cry, we slap each other. Then, we go out for ice cream. What a family.

Factions:

 Barak Runedar - Consistantly great fun, I really do enjoy seeing everyone fall out of the cracks on a Sunday. Even if I can't log in, seeing all those names on Bmia. For a smallish faction, they really do get shit done. Hopefully with the new Kingship, dwarves take off again... One day of dwarfing isn't enough.

 Bendir Dale - Fair play... There's a lot of you at the moment, and you bounce off each other really well. I hope it continues.

 The Order of the Scale - I love this. It's all the twisty mustache villainy you could want. . . And they can't hide it either, they're all about seven feet tall with giant wings for the most part. What's impressive is the giant brass spines they all have for just tossing themselves into confrontation all the time.

Peepl:

 Rosary - There's a lot to be said for a fulcrum, just ask science. I really do think a lot of Bendir things happen because you're there.

 Stormwind - Cause spying on her entertains me.

 HoJo - So much work. Honestly. I'm not sure people realise, but it needs to be said.

Right back at you Strom! I really enjoy Rook, always amused every time she's there. I hope that continues too because it's been great fun having you around!

I guess this one goes to the Bendirian players.

BruisedNeverBroken for Sullivan. Someone who has been RPing with me for too long now. The Sully and Rosary story keeps continuing, going through different directions. Every moment is great. A pleasure truly!

For a while activity seemed to drift off, where it was only me, BnB (Sully), Lost Izalith (Ember), Nicanator (Connor), RainingTears (Kelly), Bobo (Mari), Chefwudan (Nick, Aaric) and Candle (Candle!) just hanging about what to do. It was rare seeing us all together with busy schedules and timezones but I enjoyed every precious moment. I'm honestly surprised you guys stuck around this long.

Greymane (Griffo) who gave into my bugging and made a Hin. So much credit goes to him for pushing Bendir to activity again and setting the foundation again for us, I don't think we could have done it without you. I've also enjoyed every interaction, lighthearted or serious.

BilltheHin (Bill) came back! And Rafael (Wilfire) helping us again! Jes (Pebbles) popped in the scene again as well as Derica (Da'nask as well as your new one) and Maglorine (Missus). Madam_Jingles (Luckii) and DustSpray (Toby). It was a great reunion, you guys are fun to have around! Seriously missed you all.

Then the lucky thing happened, old players came back! Rotkreuz (Jaocim), Demogorgan (Geno). And lastly to the new Hins that have joined us and integrated their story into our environment: ThatGuy (Flynn), Suicidal (Fosco), Broldi (Beau). You guys have been a delight!

A special thanks to Sam with Lilly and the plot!

Everyone here breathes collective life into our RP whatever we do. I want to lock you guys and never let you go!

Lastly Lutra, for both Hector and the crazy shenanigans that you've helped conjure up on DMside. Too hilarious.

I just wanted to say as a late shoutout to all those that showed tonight on both sides -- thank you, and you're all awesome regardless of what you fought to achieve.

I completely respect staying when you figured the odds weren't in your favor, and I hope that I don't leave too bitter a taste for the outcome being in ours.

You guys did what your characters would do; the DMs handed you a giant, spiked brass dildo and you went about sticking it where you could. The fact that half the UD is in permadeath and players being bitter about it falls entirely on the DMs, not the players. The outcome was decided before the event went down, but unlike pro wrestling the people that didn't know that were one side of the active participants.

This really isn't a response in the spirit of this thread.

StraightOutaAvernus's group has been one of the most active and productive groups in Amia's recent history and short changing them is insulting. They worked and pulled this off through their own efforts not because the DM's handed them anything. In fact during the first assault they had to deal with some damn near impossible odds.

The simple fact is, if the UD players actively logged in more than once a year or a month then your comments might have grounds. People who do not show up or log in for months/years on end cannot expect to not be challenged. If you are challenged and cease to be present that isn't anyone's fault but your own. Showing up just to keep a hold of you seat of power after being gone for so long, which will become in active once the challenge is over and you win, is damaging and wrong to other players.

You can point your toxicity and bitterness anywhere you like but do not short change one of the most active groups on the server. A group that many players and factions should use as an example.

I'm just here to have fun, I only communicate with DM's about Anthraxus RP/lore and stuff, or custom requests.

Or shooting the shit with Tormak because he's fun.

I don't know what kind of pressuring would have happened, we got a veritable army of the most capable evil-players together ICly and ICly planned an invasion of a city - the first time, we got trounced, and destroyed hundreds of guards and many golems. The second time, we were victorious. But we did a lot of groundwork before this was even possible.

This is a great time for the Drow actually.

Now you have a SHITTON of spicy lore/plot to make the UD interesting and get more Drow players, and you have some meaningful conflict sitting in front of you.

Make lots of Drow characters Amia.

Take back Nec'rpya.

You now have a ton of interesting stuff to do. You're effectively outcasts from your outcast city - surely you can come up with myriad backgrounds, plots, and group plans, with lots of Drow and other UDers, now.

From everything I've read, it sounds like the UD players were perma'd during the conclusion of this event - which leads a question: Who is going to know that the city was overtaken? What capacity for RP is there if you've actively stopped it?

(I am not a UD player, but I've just been reading what been posted on the forums. If I am misinterpreting something, please correct me.)

Shame on you Maverick for Blaming or talking any shit at all about countless Players who worked their asses off trying desperately to work with slow and stagnant DM assistance over the Years only to get the short end of the stick time and again and yet keep actually trying, even after the Death of 4 cities, The Shrine, And Underport. And the Past Year or more of their Main DM being absent but leaving things in Limbo due to constantly being "returning soon" all while others got more DM support to actually do anything.

Shout Out to all my Drowsies. You are all the real unsung heroes of this Server to me and I thank all of you who I personally had (or even didn't have) the chance to RP with.

I am not talking shit. The drow did an amazing thing back in the day but the simple fact is they have not been active at all since I started. A faction does not and should not need a DM to babysit your every action to be successful, and they never tried to submit anything with any other DM during my time. I can only in the end speak about my time as a DM of course. The DM team changes just like the drow community.

You are defending players that have not logged in for over a year till their fortunes were threatened. It is hurtful to the rest of the player base and I do not support it. You do not get to sit on your throne and glare at anyone who is actually attempting to challenge your character that has not contributed to other people's rp for years. For those inactive players to then show up and insist the challengers were handed everything without any effort on their part is disturbing and distasteful.

The drow community and many other communities have been treated unfairly throughout the years by other dms and I apologize. The fact is I have no control over that and I can only now do my best as a DM to be fair and supportive of the ACTIVE player base.

Now this this thread is for commending rp so if you wish to discuss it further you can pm me or another DM.

Gotta send praise to Milkea Wae (Angelis96), Frank Balor/Oderic/Ian the Sage (KJO), Jaocim Applegate (Rotz!), Osiris/Frugdar (Misterlich), Matthew of Valendale/Tempo of Havelyn (PassionateShadow), and many others for the good times (and bad in PvP, I'm so bad lol) I have here! Things might seem rough for a few of you IC and OOC, but just keep going with what you're doing! I'd love to see you guys go above and beyond anyone's expectations!

I know I talk shit and act like an idiot sometimes, but just remember I love your roleplay, love your characters, love the times we have. <3

Thanks to the Elf community last night, this is my first serious try as a non Drow Elf. I never in my time played a elf character for this long that is not an Drow Elf, I believe if memory do not betray me! But the event last night (thanks to the DMs aswell) was nice and it was refreshing with an all elf squad (Yes, Sylveera is not the nicest to others ;) )

Lutra, T0mc4t89, and the player of, I think Tuomas Valo. Well, the three that just did a bit of talking with me. It was fun. I really enjoyed it. Pretty much everything but the outcome. It was fun to play Mezwar that desperate, and trying to talk his way out of... well, everything. On the background, I had two problems. First off, I was making up almost everything on the go, and I, what annoys me more, the fact that the information I had on Athkatla was from the fourth edition. So, Mezwar had to improvise very much from there.
One other thing annoyed me. Mezwar is barely known by anyone, even less by people and characters that still play. So I am actually really confused how two people could say anything against him, unless it comes from one place, and I doubt that is it. But, that is the first place Mezwar will look. Apart from that: The day we met. There was a dragon disciple, a tyrran and a woman who urgently needed to speak to Hector. Of those three... Mezwar doesn't know any of them. I don't even think any of my characters ever interacted with any of those... So it confuses me a lot on an OOC level... and it's kind of annoying. Well, let's see how further stuff goes, and Mezwar will be out hunting.

Thanks to the nature crew for helping RP Azmo's peaceful passing and the resulting burial. It was definitely better than my plan of just saying he doesn't appear one day and leaving it at that!

Okay... I have to give credit where it is due.

One of those characters that you can easily overlook, kind of quiet, but, in her moment, a very dynamic and deep personality, well thought out story, and an interesting character.

Ember Faren.
Thank you for our roleplay experiences together. I feel that both she and Flynn walk away feeling like they grew, or changed just a little bit every time they get to talking. It's this type of character growth that I like to experience, so thank you and I look forward to more!

Oh look...it is Flynn...great - Sylveera Guststride.

I like our characters strange relationship, it adds a extra dimension when people are not full out enemies or allies but just has that dislike you can have for certain individuals in real life too :)

Mega ultra props to Clobber for some late night RP with Shrike. He's such a big softie and it makes me laugh.

Heya! Just want to give a shout out to anyone who has been with Pushkrimp as of late. Anika, Sergei, Zar the Drow, Bri, Prurk and I apologize if I forgot anyone else.

Kudos for the bunch that took over Nec'Perya, glad to see you lot try to make something with the stagnated city. I play a drow, but see this rather as an opportunity than anything else.

Big thanks to the hinfolk! I was a little nervous putting on a Festival in the town that Rosary built, but... I think it went pretty well! As always, great times with all of you.

In no particular order!

Da'Nask
Ember
Rosary
Pebbles
Wilfire
Missus
Geno
Suzy
Marigold

And.. to SamtheGiantSlayer for bringing the whole town out!

Thanks all, makes me happy to be playing on Amia again.

Props to the Underdark PCs that have emerged from the woodwork to experience the new order for being fun, thought out characters, and on the whole great sports. It's really encouraging to see we're coming along from how attitudes may have been in week 1, and I am proud to uphold the title of UD activity axis.

Backpats out to SamTheGiantSlayer for being helpful where she could even though she has opted out of events most recently, and to Lutra both for being true to the UD environment lore and for making sure Stormwind never runs out of opportunities to fuck up.

Special thanks extending to Pushkrimp for being an enjoyable guy to bump into, and generally personable; to Sergei for OOC crafting all the Underdark war heroes a set of trophies; to Kelia and Naltyrr for taking the helm of their respective pseudo factions like a champ; and to all the Bendir folk, who I can't thank enough for providing a source for conflict in the less direct sense -- as PvP has never been something I enjoy so much as prepare for 24/7, the Cold War tension without open violence is refreshing.

Long may MAD continue, and let's hope I don't destroy Thran'daariv more than I already have lmao.

EDIT: Kathrynn holy shit.

The last few days have really been something to witness. I'm only sorry I hadn't gotten back in the game sooner, otherwise I'd have been able to learn so much more not just about the characters I've witnessed, but my own as well.

Fosco and Adrian the halflings managed to set Farah at ease in a very strange situation, and then teach her a lot more about a lot more than I had any hope to expect.

Raven and Blair, injecting some spice into what would otherwise have been monotony. And goblins. Similarly, the unmistakable Malsvir, leading the charge on the Bulette Brigade and giving Brega something new to think about. Proof positive that you can hunt and RP without sacrificing the fun of either.

Hel'Vyst. HEL'VYST. You know I was just going to log off without having had anything to do before Luvenia bumped into you? Instead we managed to kill HOURS with not a moment wasted, plus a shining appearance from Amelie that it's just a shame I had to leave so soon after.

It's really just...so magnificent to know personally how much life there still is here. I look forward to seeing more, if I can.

HEL'VYST indeed! Such a wonderful blood-thirsty elf! I'm sure he's a nice elf inside... maybe... probably. Ha! And it goes to show that PVP is not always the outcome when characters collide. The sandwich Rith'tar ate was awesome btw. Bwahahahaha!

Osiris ya know, hellballs used to be just for the forest so it's great to see that you have one for every occasion. LOL. Such an interesting character. Rith'tar is intrigued... not sure if that's good or bad actually.

Amelie, you're such a good sport after being cooked alive. Nothing like having that WTF moment after getting off the cart as you watch a smoldering human girl. :o I always enjoy your amazing emotes Sammy!

And Vier.. Vier... Vier... it's been wonderful having talks with a character with such depth. Your situation is so poignant and you're just beautiful with your RP. Thanks.

And last but never least Iim & Shiloh. So glad my crazy is back and they are there to get dragged along. Or at least I hope that's the way you see it Ana! Ahahahaha! I've missed your RP and you don't disappoint, ever.

Right back at you - Rith'tar was surprisingly deep beneath his veil of haughty Drow arrogance, I think you do a fantastic job of balancing that attitude with a deep motivation for the character. I hope we can interact more together.

I still remember Rith'tar menacing my hapless senile wizard Berlin a long time ago  good times.

And indeed kudos to Sammy and Nick for their characters, it was quite enjoyable the other day. One of the more pleasant experiences I've had in recent history outside of the dragon cult, on Amia. Love you guys!

Aw, Maze. I'm glad you seem to have enjoyed our RP as much as I have! It's sometimes hard to portray Vier with the things that have happened to her in the last year or so, but it's the interactions with everyone that make me love it so much despite just...how sad it is.

Thank you, too! I look forward to seeing how the story goes forward and I hope Rith'tar continues to be a part of it!

Kurchin and Shana made for some nice, heartwarming RP yesterday. The type Vier needs right now!

And OMG Desdemona... I love that character so much it's hard to express. Thank you, Sammy, for the touching "reunion" and the lovely RP which followed. <3

Saaaaaaammaaaaaaay! My god, I don't even know what to say except, again, last night was the best night I've had in so long.

Lich with Osiris being the devil's advocate was incredible!

KoragiMidnight didn't get blown up!

And... Overneath! Whaaaaaat the fuck? Why have we not played together more!? That was criminally fun! I was arrested two hours later. I'm writing this from a jail cell with a cell phone I had to shank a guy for.

I love you all you glorious humans

Toma, it goes without saying, excellent RP every time with Rith'tar.

And Iim'mur'ss! Ahahahaaha! <3
