Tested with a shield that grants +2 dex, an ioun that grants +2 dex, and a helm that grants +1 dex. Results are strange.

Basically, it ignores items sometimes, despite printing that it is 'merging' the items. It isn't merging them,

Shield gives +2 dex +1 con, helm is +1 wis +1 dex.

So I was confused. So I did more tests. I stripped naked and tried it with just the +2 dex shield, and +1 dex helm, and nothing. When I'm naked, it doesn't seem to give any stats at all.

So I tried it with a weapon (which has no stats) equipped.

Shield and helm should give a +3 dex total, but it just doesn't. I get +2 with the shield, and a total of +2 with the shield and +1 dex helm. This is while wearing nothing but a weapon, helm, and shield.

No idea what the heck is causing this.

When merging stats, only highest value applies.
