Hey there, as time has rolled merrily along many of us have made there fortune on amia...be it in coin, trinkets or some other means.

The question has been nagging me more and more lately as im reaching the point where it's time to consider how to bank even a fraction of my assets in some means to guard against atleast some of it being lost to a moments flimsy death or the gods of Roll 1 that screw you with glee in the worst times possible :P

While Morgan and Sons storage can store some physical assets its obvious you can't bank gold and it's no surprise there isn't a way to do that considering the strain it would put on the servers data, while my sum of wealth is small in comparison to those that have say a couple to a few hundred million of coin alone...i would still care for some advice for the future...so what i want to ask you peeps is...

By what means do you keep your large assets safe? For the most part atleast.

Thanks for your time.

Faction chests, mostly. You'll never ever see the gold personally again, but you can still "use" it to grow your faction and its influence.

For personal use - Buying epic items with gold then storing them at Morgans and Sons to sell back later to players is viable, if a little time consuming.

Find a player you trust who is more risk averse to hold it for you while you go gallivanting across the isle slaying monsters. Maybe they'll charge a nice fee to make it worth their time.

Considering you don't drop gold on death and nobody can take anything from you without your express permission, I wonder what the point of banking would be.

Sadly, this also nullifies the potential of a PC church of Waukeen.

Maybe it's about those 10% gold cost if you raise yourself? Considering that you don't lose anything else at level 30, I think that's okay, though.
