Been a long time since played here, but since the GameSpy thing isn't used anymore, I can not recall my login/character info. Is there anyone who can assist me with getting logged into my old characters? I am on my old account for the forums, but need some help with the rest. Thanks!

If you still have your old installation of NWN, it should save your account name as the account last logged in. If not, you can always just try logins you used to have and see if you can find your vault. If the server checks CD keys, you'll need to contact whoever can help you with adding your new one to your old account.

Roger. This is a new install, as I have not played NWN in about 5 years. Guess I need to get a DM/Admin type to help me figure out my old PW. I wonder if the characters are still stored in the vault on server side? I do remember the name of at least one of my toons, if that helps. I have checked my emails going back 6 years, but see nothing helpful, I am afraid. Thx for the attempt, bud.

Hey soundwich, don't worry your problem can be solved!

The tl;dr is, you don't need your password anymore as anyone can technically log in to gamespy on someone else's account as there's no password verification. However, before someone thinks of abusing this it will not let you log in any characters that are assigned to their CDKey.

That aside, when you log in to your account make a new character, this character will be assigned the CDKey you're using, then post on the request forums/ask a DM (The DM will ask you to confirm on the forums to stop someone else randomly logging in to your account and doing the same) and then make all of your other characters have your new CDKey, allowing you to log in.

Kamina, I think so, yeah. Just got my updated CD Keys from GOG, so that should work. Thanks for the reply.

I know my email, and think I recall my old login name for the GameSpy/Bioware forums, and at least one of my toon's names, so hope that will be enough.
