There is no right or wrong way, but only the 'traditional' and non-traditional ways. Both of which are perfectly fine, so long as you're convincing and have a good backstory to your character, you will be fine!

Mind that Goblinoids are currently banned from Bendir by their law. I think this allows travel on the main road, though if loitering may be asked to move on and will not be allowed inside the walls. Though i'd ask a Bendir frquenter more on it.
Other than that Goblins can be standard on Amia, or non traditional with somewhat ease and can make for some interesting characters or groups. Though unless your doing something really out there, then your character should be fine.
If you need tips on traditional Goblin culture then feel free to send me a tell and i'll try to help with what I've learnt.

It's rather lax, currently.
Goblins can not enter Bendir Dale, but are free to travel and loiter on the roads however they should not be surprised to find any ill behaviour met with resident's snap to shun.

How does size even works?! Is it related to the model? Can it be changed directly, as a statistic? Can it be fooled the same way we mock the monkey grip? I want to know -everything- about it in mechanics! No such things as the effects of size in game, as ab penalties or bonus is hiding. That part I'm already aware.

Character size isn't tied to the model. Or atleast it can be untied from it. So you could have a char set to huge size and dual wield greataxes as a halfling. Well, that's how it works with PRC anyway. And admittedly PRC is whack.
Is there a way to bring a Druid companion back to a shifter class through dc's? I know It isn't normally possible but I'd like to use it for RP reasons!

What do you mean bring it back? You still have it because you have druid levels. And druids get their companion at lvl 1. The restriction is you cannot use if you play the druid levels as something different which has no Animal companion. In this case you'd need to make a request to use it and explain what it is to your character and why you have it.
Not too used to NWN game mechanism when playing multiplayer,
So i was wondering, Does my character disappear when sneaking from another persons view? (if succesful) or am I the ghostly sneak figure you see from my own viewpoint and have to role a Hide/spot Ability Die to see if I am succesful If I want to remain hidden.
useful if I want to sneak around a town to know the steps I should take to avoid being seen.

Keep in mind you need DM approval to sneak past guards.

You need DM approval if you're going to sneak past guards in a city you're banned from or if you have hostile intents within said city. If you're just standing in the corner watching the giggle poke from the shadows that's okay. Just don't get caught by the PC guards.

Any recommendation on shifter stats anyone? My guy is very dex orientated, I'd there any other stats I should really concentrate on the higher levels? I know wisdom is good for epic but dragon is ridiculous and would nerf him due to not taking other feats if I went down that path.

hmm i made sure my base in everything is at least 10 then mained my wis and took int and cha, i think the physical stats are replaced in shift anyhow, the only thing you normally keep are int wis and cha unless those are shfited like lizard and illithid form

Item Merging: All shapes now merge every equipment slot, with the exception of wyrmlings and dragons: they only merge armor. See here for an explanation of item merging (though, of course, the list of which forms merge what contained on that link does not apply on Amia).

How?
Damned if I know. It is done in PRC. RDDs gain size modifier every 10 levels (or something like that) so it is doable. But, as I said, PRC is whack and I never looked into how it was done.

Yeeeeeah, that's my bad. I should've worded it better: My conundrum is about NWN mechanics, to be precise. Didn't see or heard anything about RDDs growing in size modifier (even checked because I wasn't sure!), but it should still be not iffy in RP.
I have a question that may have been answered before.
On Amia, is Terrifying Rage actually fear now, or is it paralysis like in vanilla NwN? Does it have a level cap on whom it affects, like vanilla NwN? Or, is it as advertised, just a plain old fear aura with a super-duper will save?
Metamagic is ignored when crafting. Thus speaketh a person that has brewed many potions and just used metamagic to boost the number you can brew in a rest. They always come out the other side as a plain ol' pot.
Quickened brewing would be fun to watch in real life.
"Bill, why did you skull that beer so fast?"
"I dunno, it just kinda jumped off the table and down my neck in half the time."
My terrifying rage question still isn't answered really - I'll get the feat soon anyway, but I wanna know exactly what I'm getting.
My main question at this point is only, "does it now affect characters of any level, rather than just those below your level (as the vanilla NwN feat does)?"

It fears the Abyss Caster chaps so you'd assume that it's everyone. I really wish it didn't apply fear at all and just applied Shaken because the Fear is really annoying.

NPCs spreading out and running to other spawn points uncontrollably?
Not annoying at all, Chris!
(I'd really like to see Fear dropped from the server and replaced with Shaken, but that's just me.)

Supernatural Fear in D&D just plain doesn't make sense. A warrior who trains by fighting deadly beasties in close combat and is psychologically driven to suppress their natural fear response in order to maintain composure and do their job can be sent screaming by a big dragon or a raging barbarian unless they have magical protection. A squishy wizard, a class that is not designed to get hurt and usually stays in the back row, has a better chance of resisting. A class that is a scholar by design, not one whom would naturally hurl themselves into deadly situations.

What is this.
I agree in this one, but let me say it my way:
Fighters are fighters, martial artists that focus and rely in the prowess of body, not of mind. Nothing in their class indicates a resolution or resolve of mind, AKA Will, to prevent the magical fear overcoming them. And no, Discipline has nothing to do with the mentality, as it was said before.
Let's assume that certain level of fear is always present in combat. We, as said, are talking about supernatural fear. Magic slipping directly into your brain and pushing all the buttons like Deedee in Dexter's lab. And magic is only denied by those who understand it or are resilient enough of mind.
Being vulnerable naturally and having a character around you that can deal with it is what makes our little RPG an actual RPG. One is not supposed to cover all the roles.
Yelp, I can't log in. In fact, I can't even seem to get to the server selection apart from Amia the A in my server history. From there I get to the character select, but I get booted upon logging in. The error message is the good old, in-your-face "You've been booted."
Can't remember bugger all what I did to get the key. Suppose it wasn't all legal, though. Tried making a new one, and what do you mean by kicking old ones? As in deleting them? Can you do that?
Well, that can't obviously be the problem as I tried making a new one. I've heard of two mythical creatures during my time here in Amia, the Dog Bro and Yoss's Mum. Could it be that either, or both, hate me and don't want me in?
Here are some questions regarding transfering items properties from one item to another using the job system.
1 ) Can it be done? I know it's possible to do with armors/weapons, but jewelries also?
2 ) If a property (like freedom, for example) is transferred on a "Gill" ring, will that new "gill" ring have the ability to let you breathe underwater? (or does it override all abilities on it, including the breathe underwater effect?)
3 ) Is it possible for a Use/Day spell to be transfered to a "gill item" using the job system (this does not count as a mythal slot) and then have another effect transferred onto that "Use/Day Cast Whatever Gill" so that it has, say, again, Freedom? (*Without DC requesting it, I mean)
That item would therefore be:
* Breathe Underwater (no slot) * One/Day Cast Whatever (no slot) * Freedom (2 slots) * Have one mythal slot left
Joined: 20 Apr 2008 Location: The downeaster "Alexa"
The Underwater Breathing effect is based off of the item tag. It doesnt take a slot, so as long as the item is still the original item, with the same tag, it should work. One of my characters used to mythal-craft Gill items and armor all the time and sell them because of that perk. If you try to transfer a Gill ring to something else, I am pretty sure that tag wont get transferred.
Anything that is actually a power, such as a spell casting, will still take the same slots, regardless.

Is you made a halfling earth genasi would it be given:
+2 STR, +2 CON, -2 WIS, -2 CHA (just EG stats) OR +0 STR, +2 DEX, +2 CON, -2 WIS, -2 CHA (combined hin and EG stats)
The Earth Genasi stats completely overwrite the base race, right? So it'd be the first one?
edit: that includes the halfling racial bonuses too (ie the skill bonuses) right?

You still get the initial skill bonuses and feats.

The initial ones are removed (setting you to a basic human) then the new ones applied.
So whatever that one is.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. They get the human bonuses too? (+1 feat, +1 skill point per level?)
No, they get whatever their base race gets on their first level.
