*A woman elf was found dead in an alleyway with a knife in her chest, and two silver coins placed over her eyes. Close to the body was a small blood-washed plush cat. The woman was identified as Samrael Cymere, former bar owner of the Broken Arrow Tavern of West Cordor. Also on the scene was a small flask with the engraving of the word 'Hope' on its face. The flask was empty. Some rumors spread about the woman being from Winya Ravana.*

Another elven woman, hearing about this incident, first goes into shock, then shouts 'no', then breaks down sobbing.
And then starts asking around about where the body was moved to, a symbol of Sehanine in her grip and a prayer of assistance on her lips.

Akantha who had been there through the incident and having an uncanny sense of how to avoid murder charges for some reason... had never touched the woman's dagger the elven woman had impaled in her own heart. She would let the diviners spells prove the woman had taken her own life odds are they wouldn't even see her in the visions. Her only act the kindness of placing two silver coins over her eyes and leaving the ally way to find guards who had apparently found the body on their own before she could inform anyone. Though admittedly she was shaken about the matter, as a moment of human kindness and decency had cost her two silver coins.

Not long after the body is reported, Marcus arrives and helps the other guards close off the ally for all but Cordoran Guards. He then begins an examination of the scene, writing down his findings in his notebook.

The Captain of the Adventuring Division, after hearing about it, arrives at the first opportunity. That is to say, minutes after when the air is still crisp and the sky is still dark and moist. She takes her own notes, and then has some orderlies from Moribund transport the body to Moribund and put it on ice.

The same said woman who reportedly died was seen carried out of the city wrapped in a cloak by the guard Marcus Sembianus Aurelius. She seemed to look as pale as waxed bone, and stinking of formaldehyde and heavily frightened by the world around her. Her whereabouts at this time remain unknown.
