Across the West Coast of Amia, a faint tremor was felt just before the water level seemed to drop by about a foot. Moments later, the seas seemed to begin to rise on the horizon and those fisherman, pirates and other seafaring folk out on the coast, quickly began scampering futher inland, dropping what they were doing on the spot.
Soon enough, a veritable wall of water could be seen clearly, hurtling towards the coast, growing taller as it neared the shore. Just before the waves reached the land, it would looked to have been a solid fifteen feet in height.
Little actual damage is done however, most of the hardy sea folk knowing well enough to run away. Boats rock, buildings are soaked, a few stray chickens are washed away but the effect on the peoples' moral is more palpable.
Mothers quickly make a sign of their patron deity, asking for protection for their family against the ill omen, while sailors whisper a quiet plea to the Bitch Queen to be spared Her wrath.

[A young elven woman sporting the darkened red and gold colours of the Order of the Flaming Blade would journey to Wharftown by way of cart. Accompanying her would be a female ranger garbed in black and a woman in a dress, both elven. After surveying the minor damage she started making her way down to the docks and would inspect a ship under construction there.]
"Thank Valkur, it's intact.."
[After she spoke briefly to the city official in Wharftown, she would spend an hour or so by the docks before departing with the elven ranger.]

Hand of Ieyrn Saylgarix would stand guard during and a good amount of time after the earthquake and wave hit Wharftown. Mostly he'd see to that the fishermen didn't get out of hand and that no fighting, looting, or other kinds of madness or mayhem broke out. On the side, he'd help the guards out with moving supplies or caring for the fishermen if such was requested. Saylgarix also made a point to check to see what happened with the plague victim pyre, which was rather precariously close to the sea.

Next day, sun elf wearing red and gold armor arrives to Wharftown with similarly dressed elven woman and two Lathanderites. He quickly surveys the situation, paying special attention to ship that's being built. He then tries to look up Garth or anyone from construction crew, and offer whatever assistance War Knights may provide.

Arriving by cart also a Warrior of Torm and known Triadic Squire Thomas Mason dressed for battle comes upon the scene. Offering his skills in healing he quickly finds out that there are no casualties except for few said chickens. A look of concern for what could cause such a force of nature crosses his face.

There would indeed be little damage evident, and most of the damage to the dock would have already been repaired by the locals, given that it's such a large part of their livelihoods in the small town.
Perhaps oddly, no aftershocks were reported to have been felt.
