Gideon, I arrived late to see it for myself, apparently there was an orb of annihilation being controlled from somewhere, or itself being able to control itself. A group set out to investigate where it came from which was believed to be the Sandy Beach, I sent Ailani with them to report back to either me, or yourself. Until then the gate to the forest is now missing, having vanished into the orb. I shall guard the gate until such time as it can be repaired. ~ Candle |

The gate can be easily repaired, and the militia and several workers from around town go about doing so in fairly short order. |
