*A hooded man approaches the south gate of Bendir Dale riding a pitch black horse and bearing a large scythe in his right hand. Upon approaching the guard he stops just short of the range of their arrows and begins to yell.*
I, declare Myk Thorngallow, a blatant liar that hides behind the strength of paladins and others alike. All his tales of grandeur are but the foolish words of a man about to meet his end. I challenge Myk Thorngallow to exit the safety of Bendir Dale and face me in a duel like a true warrior, and let the gods decide his fate.
*As the guards approach he gives his horse a hard kick and withdraws further to the south*
Having been told by a militia of this event, Theadric Shortwick would be amazed, shocked, he'd jump in shock and repeat the words, "A HORSE?!" "I thought those were only in tales of legend! This guy's a big wig! We'd better give 'em Myk!" Though he was clearly joking.
Having spent the day taking care of Old Man and been unable to be about her business as she normally would, Corel only hears of this through the grape vine. She shakes her head a little with a murmured 'someone's afraid' before she heads off to the hinn inn and buys some quiche for her stepfather.

It doesn't take long for Breazy to hear of the black horse and rider or his demands or words
"I don't care what sort of trouble Myk's in. Ain't no creeper taller gonna come to our gates and demand a hin." announces firmly. Taking a calmingly deep breath she continues, "You tell that one to pike off!" says looking to the militia and citizens alike. "He don't listen..shoot his horse first! There ain't no such thing on these island so probably a summoned demon anyway." Nods firmly and walks away.

Having rather spectacularly lost her temper with Myk amongst other things, Corel would return home only to find Old Man wagging a letter at her and muttering something about 'Militia duty' and 'About time you made something of yourself my girl'. When she finally gets the letter off him, she reads it and then clenches it to her chest before folding it neatly and secreting it away in a small wooden box under her bed.
She would be seen making an offering of a sling and some bullets to the idol of Arvoreen in the Dale some time that evening.

* After a brief spotting outside the dale in the middle of a crowded corner near the carts, Rosie would be reunited with Polly. After sternly leading her sister through the gates, and asking Theadric for permission they would lock themselves in the Town Hall. After several hours of conversation, Polly would leave the room. A half hour or so later, Rosie would leave, placing the key back. Heading to her room in the Hin Inn quickly, her eyes a bit puffy and her cheeks and nose a touch rosier than normal. She would stop next to the fountain, inspecting the soil there briefly*

*After a lovely night of heavy rain, thunder, storm and typical halfling chaos, not to mention one very heartfelt apology, the local rum-drunk Jack Lightfellow can be found passed out and sleeping on the roof of the Hinn Inn. With the first rays of the morning sun he'd wake up, complaining about that "head-shotting ball of overgrown candlelight" while heading to find a drink.*

From the forest comes the Dale's favorite redheaded taller, carrying and dragging two deer carcasses to drop outside the gates. She seems to be in a foul mood from a recent 'encounter' but is determined to finish her work. She speaks to any gathered round to have the animals butchered and divided amongst the people of the small hamlet. Any watching would see she is covered in blood from claw and bite marks. Accompanying her was a blonde haired woman that seemed shaken from their recent encounter and concerned about the redhead. She is told to go get her supplies and meet at Kampo's. The redhead then stalks off, still seething.

After Bendirs rejoicing party that spread across the streets of the Dale due to their grass returning to the peaceful lands.
Theadric heads home, a calm smile on his face and his shoes in his hands. Enjoying the feeling of fresh grass tickling his toes. A few hours later, he's seen sat above his door, swinging his legs side to side with a drink, enjoying the sight.
When the first spouts started showing Breazy weep so overcome with joy, and offered reverence to the gods. Then she was overcome by the great amount of ale that seemed to make it into her cup. Not usually a drinker, and smaller since she been eating as little as possible saving the rest for those in greater need it didn't take long for her to become more then a bit drunk.
She is seen throwing fireworks with other, skinny dipping in the now clean water of the lake, and then wandering to the citadel to share the joyous news with the dwarves. The council and citizens didn't seem to be available so she drank with the hearthgaurd and sang dwarven drinking songs. Passing out for a bit in a room there then waking to start celebrating again.

Whether it has been a hidden talent honed away from the Dale, or simply one that hasn't been exercised in awhile, the sound of a wooden flute now floats across the Dale, it's source being Corel. She is around and about, apparently busy planting and playing music to the crops, and watching the comings of goings of folk as she does so. The music has a certain soulful simplicity to it, and the flute-playing never persists for extended periods in the same place.

Following the celebration a huge, golden-scaled half-dragon may be seen about the Dale lands, planting and tending to various saplings and sprigs. She does not intrude on others and keeps mostly to herself, observing visitors and residents alike. She is often seen standing outside the gates, her molten gold eyes keeping a near-constant vigil over the Dale. If approached by one of the various residents, she maintains a calm and friendly demeanor, speaking to them about anything they like.

Feeling ever excited but now at peace, Gulliver (Acorn) would be able to finally achieve a good nights sleep knowing the curse has passed.
Yet he is a slave to the famous gnomish curiousity he inherited from his ancestors. A question lingers in the back of his mind.....
How was the curse finally ended? Was this solely the work of Yondalla, Garl, Baervan and all of the other deities of our people, or were there other factors involved?
It was a question that would not go away, but that didn't need to be answered. Not yet at least. There was still much work to be focused on for planting seeds and blessing the land. Finally, his oath had been fulfilled. He was a part of the land becoming balanced once more.

During the festivities and rejoicing, Walker would be seen standing by quietly with a small smile gracing her lips. A serene joy glowing her eyes to see the land returning to its former glory. In her own way she aided in the spreading of seeds, taking a handful and blowing a kiss over it with a whisper on the wind. The seeds scatter and float on the currents of her blessing to land where they may. A mixture of crops and flowers alike, melding with the soil to begin its new life. A land renewed through faith.

OOC: There are no riding horses on Amia. You'd need to have a good voice to shout further then arrow range. Also, this needs DM oversight to properly rp guard response which would likely be 'What is he shouting all the way over there?'.
Don't do this again without contacting a DM first. Thank you.

The early hours of this morning, Theadric would've been seen wandering the Dale talking to a brown haired taller. Any that listened for more than a minute, would easily pick up on him being Gerald Edmund, First Knight of Tarkuul. Against what might be expected with such meeting, they laughed often and Theadric, was asking a lot of questions out of excitement. Inquiring into the voice of Tarkuul, that Gerald is in fact human and not some comic evil genius, and that he didn't have awesome facial hair.
Breazy: " Breazy is seen more and more rubbing between her eyes, a glass of wine in hand. Most of her days spent sitting at the desk in Town Hall or at home, though she makes a point to come out and visit with those traveling through, and walking through the dale to speak softly with the farmer and old wives working so hard to restore the land, or to play a quick game of hide n' seek with the little ones though she always looses."
Briar:"Briar would have been sliding silently out of the wagon behind the ingredient merchant booth this morning, pausing hearing Theadric and the taller talking. With a shrug she slips quietly away to find breakfast. More and more she is seen lingering and teasing those that pass through or hins that aren't quick enough to slip away. She gambles with the goblin, drinks as much of Jack rum that she can snag from him, and is usually looking for others to go explore the island with.

A note is left in the Dale meeting room written in fine Elven script, the language is in hin.
Dear Breazy, Theadric, Acorn, whoever else it may concern.
I have already informed Theadric of my intentions and it is time I informed the rest of you. Returning here was a mistake and one I plan to rectify. I am planning to leave for Luiren, to start afresh, too many memories here and too few I feel I can share them with. If all goes to plan I'll be far out to sea by the time any of you read this. I thank you for the kindness you have shown me these past few weeks and I apologise that I can't remain with you longer.
And if any of you see Eugene about, tell him it is nothing personal. Make sure he understands I meant well.
Pilineth
Should anyone have stayed up to the early hours of the morning that night they would have seen an unusually tall cloaked Halfling with two small bags of luggage leave the Dale.
//There's a few things I should go over here on an OOC note. First things first: I haven't been enjoying Pilineth as much as I did before since coming back. Secondly I don't feel she fits in much with the Dale anymore, she just feels kinda outdated. And thirdly with exams coming up I'm not gonna be able to play any more for awhile. But I'll be back at the end of June with a new guy.
Until then folks!

*Rosie would return, seeming chilled and with more scars than where she left, these fresh ones at least would fade overtime. If asked about it, she would exclaim, "I finally found the damned Brogdenstein orcs!"*
Not long after returning, Rosie would be seen heading to the Triumvire with Polly, planning to stay there a few nights, giving Polly a chance to pal around with other bards and read in the library and give Rosie some time to relax and sleep in.

After returning to Bendir in the evening looking like crap, inch thick layer of dust and blood that's not all his dotted over him. He slumped by the river for a while talking with Rosary. After some time, they went home and came out a bit later, Theadric was neatly dressed and cleaned up.
Before he could get much peace, though, he's seen dragging Roim from the town hall with a blade mark across his face and body burnt to a crisp after an explosion from with in. Once he returned from the frontier with out Roim Falltelf, he spoke to a merchant on the stand in the square, then returned home with Rosary. Racing her half way home and losing...

After a rather lively day, and some Hellballing and Greater Ruining, then consoling the Mayor, Jack is seen leaving Bendir Dale after a rather short but heated arguement with a tailed taller who called Dale a "Shithole". After this particular arguement Jack is not seen in the Dale that day, night or the following morning. His room in the Inn remains untouched and empty, the rum-loving hin absent.

Bendir Dale sees a resurgence of plant-life after a series of unusual events that brought together townsfolk and visitors alike. The orchard is once again filled with healthy fruit, crops have been planted, and beautiful flowers with golden petals have begun to sprout in patches across the southern portion of the Dale.
Polly would be seen skipping happily out of town with his big sis singing lovely songs about "a college in a painting". She would not be seen in the dale for a while, and when she returns it would be very breif

After seeing this particular notice, Jack sips rum, shakes his head and smirks. He then looks at the nearest hin/clerk/whoever, asking. "Is there a more efficient way to say 'I told you so' than I told you so? Becuase I bloody told you all so, many times and loudly. But no, we must believe the taller. Have I ever been wrong yet?" With mutterings like that he makes his way off to gods-know-where to work on emptying his current bottle of rum and thus prolong his intoxication.

To everyone's surprise Breazy is up early. She immediately goes to the inn and begins preparing a special room. All morning she dust and polishes till every surface gleams with bees wax, the windows are thrown open to allow fresh air in, a warm quilt, new pillows and thick rugs are added. Bright wild flowers are put in a solid clay vase and a rather large keg of brown nose is brought in. The whole while she works she hums happily. Ignoring all other duties that morning she's obviously preparing for a long stay from someone important.
If asked her face would light up and her voice takes on an adoring quality, "Sir Roidoc is coming home!" she would say excitedly and return to work. Making sure the elderly paladin is comfortable until their house is reopened seems to be a top priority.

A hearty but foul mouthed Dwarf clad in shining platemail is seen these days loitering about the Bronzebeard compound on the far western side of the Dale. If approached he'd basically respond "Eh, SHADDAP ya meddling git!".

After the events involving pranks and near death experiences Perin leaves for the graveyard to the west of the Dale. Should anyone visit the site they would find him on his knees with his coat folded at his side in front of the idol of Urogalan. His eyes are closed and his hands outstretched palms up towards the idol filled with earth and soil. He remains there overnight and would not respond to anyone should they attempt to speak with him.

Theadric goes up there in the chilly night, and rests a blanket over his shoulders, before kneeling before one of the graves for a good half hour in silence, simply staring at the grave stone, before moving back inside and to bed for the night.
Theadric was seen at an early rise, leaving the gates of Bendir with his shield out and hood up, arms swinging and a content smile on his lips. He walked off east and up through Amia Forest.
With in the hour, he returns with a determined look on his face. Arriving via portal wand, he heads straight to Bemmi, buying twelve bread rolls, then going into Fendal and buying twelve bottles of water, then heading back outside. He takes out his portal wand, taps his chest and vanishes.
For a few days, Breazy could be seen without cloak or her staff. Which is rather odd to most observers as she hasn't been without the staff since the day it was gifted to her by the gnome Coin. Then she begins spending more and more time vanishing into the Hinn Inn sometimes for only a few moments other times for hours but is always seen in a chipper and happy mood when she reappears.

Crow may have been seen emerging from the town hall, and heading north to Amia Forest. Those that see him on this particular occasion, find him covered in a pink sticky substance, that he picks a bit of as he walks, and munches on it.
Sometime this evening, a sudden fight broke out just outside the gates to the Dale, near the carts. A familiar, golden-scaled half-dragon, unarmed, was cut down by a hooded man, aided by another man shrouded in spells. Spells flew and others - Crow and Evander among them - joined the fight, but the two attackers fled after cutting the horns from the downed half-dragon.
When the dust settled, those lingering tended to those who had fallen. Kyra made her way to the interior of the Dale, where she collapsed next to the fountain to rest. The name of her attacker, Quickdraw, passed her lips aloud only once, in a fierce and dangerous growl.

After yet another rash of violence Breazy can be seen in a rather foul mood. The ban list is quickly updated and she vanishes into the Town Hall sending off a series of notes. Then once again she vanishes into the Hinn Inn to emerge much calmer a few hours later.

An aasimar halfling could be seen passing through bendir every day and every night. Praying to the Shrine behind the Dale both coming and going occasionally stopping at the other shrine. He would never stay long however.

There are noticeable dark circles under Breazy's eyes and ink stains on her hands. Breazy's patience seem to be worn thin over recent events and though she tries to maintain her good nature it take very little effort to bring out a notable amount of not so good cheer.
At every free moment she seems to still be slipping into the Hinn Inn, and it doesn't take long for it to be rumored that a certain tall hin had taken up residence there about the same time she started slipping into the inn.

Treasurer Vindle seems to be spending an increased amount of time in the fields, both at home and abroad. Taking a keen interest in the size and volume of the spring harvest. Keeping to her role as treasurer she seems mainly interested in taking a tally of the expected exports for the season, before carting across the island to check on other centers of agriculture to see seemingly what the dale is up against for the coming harvest.
In between these visits a large pile of accounting documents in town hall grows increasingly larger and larger.

Following a rather magically impressive fight involving hellballs, Dragons, and a man named Krin Perin is not seen in the dale at all. Not at his usual haunts of the Graveyard or the area just outside of the walls.
Incedentally should anyone go up the hill and to the southwest site of the cliff, they would find a small slightly burned and heavily stabbed topless masked hin laying face down next to a defiled grave, a large pool of gore and a shovel.

Upon returning to the scene of the battle and his attempted burial, Krin found the halfling's corpse. After a glance around he cast an invisibility spell upon himself and on Perin. When the invisibility spells wore off, Perin's corpse was found laying in the road at the top of the hill near Bendir's main gate. Aside from the injuries that caused his death, Perin's body was completely intact when he was left in front of the town.
Rosie would be seen outside of the gates very often as of late, mostly talking to whoever may be out there before running off on adventures with anyone who'll take her along with them. She would seemingly come and go at will, though never seen late at night nor early in the morning. She's in good spirits for the first time in months and the only frown seen on her face is one that's being feigned to get her way!
Dalur stops by Jaylek's every day, restocking healing supplies before heading back. His armor noticeably worn since it's last polishing and his sword and mace are impeccable, except for the apparent wear on the leather hand grips for both. He prays at Arvoreen's statue upon each visit to the Dale. Sometimes in the company of another, newcomer halfling. He, too, doesn't stay the nights after exiting from the town hall, seemingly disappointed. Anyone who might have knowledge, would see his nightly portals which take him to Kohlingen.
