Greetings all!

With the current "peace" and all Hammer & kilt is organizing a little event that's open for ALL to join.

At kampos this evening 11th day of Tarsakh, 1388 DR. (// 9pm gmt (about 12 hours from this posting) - 11/4/2020) there will be a nice evening with friendly and open time, including, bare knuckle boxing, merchant('s) seats and lots of places to hang about.

Bare-knuckle boxing competition
Any one can sign up or sign up a pet/summon/companion/whatever. The idea is a friendly fight, with no spells, wards, armor, breath attacks, weapons or any thing, just plain fists.

Entry fee is 50k, sponsorship can be provided.
The price: Gold depending on amount of participants + sponsorship for next competition +free drinks/food for the remainder of the evening.

Rules:
you lose if:
You leave the fight circle by any means.
You use spells/spell like stuff/wards/unfair tricks (for example monk stunning firsts)
The referee decide there has been a reason (mainly unfair fighting)
You surrender either by words, or tap out
You are knocked out
You cause collateral damage/injurie to by standers
You use weaponry
You use Enchanted gloves that enhance your fists
You fail to stop when called for

Archery (or sling/throwing weaponry) competition
A fun and alternate competition for ranged based mundane attacks. The goal is to destroy more targets then others in a set time, or all as fast as possible (depending on the amount of participants)

You move closer from the set line
You use spells/spell like stuff/unfair tricks (for example exploding arrows that damage multiple targets at once))
The referee decide there has been a reason (mainly unfair activities)
You surrender either by words, or tap out
You cause collateral damage/injurie to by standers
You fail to stop when called for

Hammer and kilt wil have his weapon and adventurer shop.
If you are looking for a specific weapon type, please let me know in advance so I can arrange to have a selection available of that sort.

Other then this you are allowed to set up shop your self, but please register with us first. We wil try to arrange stalls, but can not guarantee this at the time, so please bring your own.

Besides this you can have us sell your things, for a fair fee depending on amount +10% commission per sold item.

Under no condition should food or drinks be sold with out prior approval of kamops himself, as he reserves the right for this service.

Regardless of race, believes, world views we ask you all to:
-remain natural here, keep conflicts outside, and just relax.
-respect all visitors regardless of race/believes/alignment/whatever.
-Yes some disciplines are evil, some are good, don't care, take this time to go out your normal way and have a drink with them.
-Don't insult each other with intend to cause friction or start something.
-If you need to fight or bloody each other go fight it out on mimir bridge, and see who gets wet first.
-Kampos will is law here. but also listen to Hammer & kilt employees

You are wise to exclude such tactics. If they were permitted, this contest might be viewed by the audience as a test of SKILL. By forcing the trained, skilled hand fighter who's worked his entire life to perfect bare knuckle fighting to tie his entire brain behind his back and forget every technique he's learned you maintain this event as a perfect example of a "Carnival of the Unskilled".

You can now safely determine which knuckle dragging brute with a head filled with cement can absorb the most punishment while remaining conscious. Alternatively, you can determine which stealthy dancer can best hide and prance before appearing just long enough to kick his opponent in the groin and vanish again.

Such carnival acts are sure to be crowd pleasers. Bravo!

You can see it we find those skills so strong we bow to them and ask not them to be used. That said, the stunning fist is not a knuckle skill but a weird pressuring of a certain point to disable the nerves system or something. I mean I trained years to use a great sword as a extension of my own, and cant use that either..

I believe general monk training beside these "tricks" still would make then considerable foes, if you keep in mind most are just good with weapons not so much in fists. But if you consider yourself to weak to participate with out tricks, then by all means have a drink and a laugh! and enjoy others fighting (make a bet, get rich).

extra note: stealth is considered cheating yes.

A simple note left by a rather simple-looking man...

Seeing which knuckle-dragging brute with a head filled with cement can absorb the most punishment is half the fun of watching something like this. Unless everyone and their mothers suddenly became masters of fist-fighting, watching a master beat up lay-folks would be about as fun as pitting a child without arms or armor against a horde of trolls in gladiatorial combat.
