Kinsmen,
I offer a chance to build our own life, one stone at a time. I, Lorin of Clan Stonegate, am in search of strong, responsible individuals to assist me in building a new stronghold for our kin on the main island of Amia. My plan is many-fold.
1) We begin by mining out a suitable mountain, preferably one rich with resources to suit our needs. This will provide a basis for a step two.
2) We start building up walls, in a fashion similar to that of Old Shanatar. They must be sturdy, lest we all be crushed in our sleep.
3) We ensure our survival by taking out all that which may be considered a threat. Any presence of nearby drow, goblinoids, orcs, kobolds, giants, or otherwise, must be crushed with the might of Moradin's Children. No exceptions. Furthermore, we must procure trade routes, that we may be well-fed and well-provisioned, and ready for any emergency.
4) We shall establish a king and his heir. I, Lorin of Clan Stonegate, shall take a throne to rival the might of the Wyrmskull Throne, and shall select a successor of equal might to myself. Your choices shall heavily reflect upon mine, and I will always take into account the rights and words of my kin.
5) Law and order will be established by an elected sheriff and his chosen comrades. The sheriff may be removed from his office at any time by vote or by my command. The sheriff may establish any law he wish unless it is of no benefit to the people.
May there be glory to us, our kin, and their kin to come. There will for once be a safe haven within Amia's mainland that any dwarf may settle within.
