A notice left in Wharftown, Wiltun, Kampo's, Cordor, Kohlingen and Bendir Dale.

Most honorable peoples of (cityname, in Kampo's just A'mia')I have only recently arrived here, and I have practised my fighting a bit. However, I have heard of a way I might be better at using my scythe. To achieve the end of being the best possible, I was hoping there would be people willing to help me with my practise.

My name is Draven and I will be keeping a lookout for any and all responses under this poster.

*a fashionable sea captain looking sort with the finest of headwear would reply to the notice in Cordor*

A scythe, my dear boy? From which farm have you escaped? Come to me if you want to use a rapier like a proper gentleman.

Buried way deep among the drama and parchments and job listings Draven may find a similar call for help.

A letter left in Cordor.
Honorable Mister Fay,While I appreciate the offer, and mean no disrespect to your skills at teaching, I doubt I would be able to achieve such prowess with a Rapier. I fear it would break while trying to use it. I also believe that it would be a pretty big setback to give up my practise with a scythe, and move an entirely different type of weapon.
However, if you think that would not be a problem, perhaps we could arrange a meeting.

*the seafarer replies to the notice again*

Don't call me honorable. I have a reputation to maintain.

I'm afraid my training wouldn't do you a bit of good, young lad. There is an art to the rapier that you would never be able to achieve. Best of luck in hunting feral dire grass or whatever unholy purpose you could have for turning to farm tools as weapons.

After reading the new notice, people might notice Draven looking very annoyed and unhappy.
Why did you offer your help then, if you only strive to mock me?

I offered to teach you how to use the proper tools much like I would teach a carpenter to use a saw instead of splitting wood with a club or a hairdresser to use proper dye instead of covering one's head with pudding. Leave the farm tools to the poor people in North Cordor or the Greengarden district.

Less squabbling more fighting. You can hurt someone with a scythe as much as you can a rapier. It's the technique, not the weapon. How about you try this out in person instead of in writing?
