Quote:
Priests and Servants of Chauntea,
House Van Brabant of Kohlingen calls for your aid!

For countless generations we have been faithful to the Greatmother,
tending the fields with respect for the natural ways and the cycles of the seasons.
Never relying on cheap and easy magic to twist the land apart,
but working with our hands, and the tools and methods She taught us.
We have housed and supported priests and monks whenever they needed aid,
and each generation at least one of our blood swears service to the Goddess.

But now our fields lie barren, beset with rot and vermin.
Dark witchcraft twists the seasons, turning winter to summer before its time.
The worship of distant desert gods encroaches on our faith,
besieging ways and wisdom that have fed our people for hundreds of years.

The Greatmother has always been kind and generous to us,
and we have been kind and generous to Her as best as we could.
We now call on your aid, to remove the rot from our land
and stand with us against the evil that would twist the earth and wind against us.

Jonkheer Aernoud Van Brabant of Kohlingen

A very muscular Elven woman reads the notice in Cordor, and says aloud...

"They worry about the -desert gods- encroaching on their religions, yet beseech the help of yet another Goddess. I don't think adding more to the issue is the solution, perhaps, find peace amongst yourselves first."

Anyone watching the woman might notice a small, smoothed and polished piece of ore on a chain around her neck that she would play with while reading the poster..

*a reply is sent carrying the official seal of Malandria of the Grove*

Dear Aernoud Van Brabant,

we have met a few times before. I am saddened to hear the news about the fields and offer the aid of the Grove of Oakmist Vale to fight this blight.

Regards
