A figure in a green leather jacket and hood would stoop to pick up one of the stray notices after he impales it accidentally on a spiked boot. He'd read it then shake his head. "Pathetic," he'd mutter. "Who is she?" a female voice, soft spoken, sounding more in his head than his ears. "Most likely a liar, but if not, then a little girl desperate for the same fear and respect many held for her father. For now it doesn't concern us beyond being alert for her presence though. If this escalates much further though, she will become an annoyance that needs to be crushed, for the sake of our allies here if not for our own sake," he thought inwardly, rather than speaking aloud as he stuffed the notice into his pocket. "Oh...okay. Are you going to leave a notice up or something warning her at least?" "No, she likely wouldn't get it and even if she did, her kind only speaks the language of violence. Words mean nothing. We have more important things to do." The voice seemed satisfied with that answer, at least for the moment, and fell silent as he continued his trek through the frontier. |

Three of these notes are acquired by a young man whom later departs on a boat to Kohlingen. He doesn't appear overly concerned, merely reading the words over on his way. |

A fellow in silver and black armor with a white cloak trimmed in black, the symbol on the back of an upright skeletal arm holding golden scales scoops up a few pieces of parchment. He glances at the message then proceeds to roll them up neatly and put them away. And promptly departs. |

A certain warhammer wielding priestess of Selune picks up a few, glances over them then laughs merrily before muttering, "Fecking hells. I'll leave these over at the Shanty. They may need 'em for extra bum wipe material if the clam chowder is as bad as I heard it was last week." |

A winged figure dressed in black and green collects one of
the notes, and disappears in the shadows soon thereafter. |

Pale lips curled wide to portray a fiendish open-mouthed grin, above that, her featureless white eyes narrowed to match her demonic complexion, a lengthy white whisp of long hair brushed across her cheeks and over the black fabric covering her shoulders. "You don't saaaay." She practically sang the words in a musical tone, and swayed in an imitation of a dancer's step, to her left, the slender female clearly long since disturbed. "Lookie here, snakecharmer." Her bone white arm reached out to show the note to a much taller armor clad figure at her side who said nothing. "Pleaaase?" The woman said childishly and brushed affectionately against the armored figure's arm and hip...who still said nothing despite the apparent 'conversation'. "That's a good idea." She said at whatever imaginary agreement occurred. |

A curved, gimping figure is stopped in her tracks by the notice. She stares at it for a very long time, unheeding of the nervous, skittish or plain sarcastic comments it seems to elicit. After a while, she steadies her breath and gives a faint shake of her horned head, waking from who knows what kind of deep mulling. She finally gimps away with an utterly unfathomable expression drawn on her face, casting a wary glance over her shoulder and to the piece of paper until it's completely out of sight. |

One of the notes is given a quick glance, before being stored away as evidence. "The Black Hand is brittle indeed if its fingers are naught but raving strumpets in tantrum." |

Should any notes be left in the area, they catch the attention of a white scaled kobold skulking through the area. Venturing within sight of the barricade in North Cordor to growl at the guards stationed there the kobold picks up one of the notes. After glaring at the nearby guards to see if they wish to contest his possession of the paper, he trots back to the frontier with his prize. Making sure he's out of sight of the other guards in the Frontier and wary of goblins sneaking upon him he examines his new paper. He cocks his head to the side looking at the designs on one side, turning it over to see the plain side he gives it a sniff. With a shrug he pops it into his mouth chewing absently moving on to find more of the chewy thin wood. With a snarl at the guards he proceeds to the east picking up any notes that he finds, seemingly chewing happily. (OOC Note: This is of course assuming that since the notes threatening a guard, and littered in front of numerous guard NPC's somehow garners no attention from said guards and there are actually notes left to collect.) |
