The Branded Phoenix is a group of motivated individuals who are interested in combating threats to Amia, whether it be from magical means, political corruption, or acts of war. Special emphasis is placed upon countering magical and occult threats. We also maintain that the status quo should be to the advantage of all, rather than the benefit of the few. We are not aligned with any cities, we come from different walks of life, we bear different creeds, and we pay tribute to different gods.

Our common affiliation is our cause. Like-minded individuals among our group will have access to a wealth of resources to fight not only this battle, but all battles worth fighting. There is no skill that we could not put to use, whether it is diplomacy, combat, magical arts, divine arts, or information gathering. The only requirements are common sense, and fealty to each other and our common goals.

The current status quo is a city in anarchy, threatened with annihilation by a foreign realm.

What differentiates you from the infamous Harpers of the mainland? An order that also proposes to maintain a 'status-quo' through agents of varying professions and creeds.

Signs are posted in these locations, with a loose canvas nailed to the wooden signs. A reply is written in common, using a conservative script and left in Cordor. Certain portions use a different color ink in order to make a point. The notice does not say that this group wishes to uphold the status-quo. What is says is this: We also maintain that the status quo should be to the advantage of all, rather than the benefit of the few. The word, maintain is used to indicate a belief or agreement. Perhaps it will save unnecessary bickering if you read it as it was intended. We also believe that the status quo should be to the advantage of all, rather than the benefit of the few. ~ Tarathiel

Crow sees the canvas painting and the note with it, in Bendir Dale. He shrugs, passing it off as another fly-by-night group, not having a clue who "E.E." is.

One copy of the original notice disappears from its spot in Uhm overnight. Taken down by a stronger blow of coastal wind, maybe?

Scribbled below Hopefully nothing, as harpers are the shield against insidius organisations such as the eldritch valuuthra and the Shadow thieves.
