Depending on the time of retrieval, a living Elf was bound and stretched vertically against a large stone near the graves of the Minmir Bridge. His wrists were bound and tied, his clothes charred from some source of fire, and an open stomach wound, likely from a dagger, bled against his robes. Those who recognized the Elf would know him to be Belad Keleben.
He was likely left alive, though his condition would upon the arrival of others may have shifted if delayed for too long.
There is no written message, no immediate indication of who was responsible. Though perhaps the Elf had a tale of his own to tell. But perhaps no words were needed.

The body was mysteriously removed.
In a totally unrelated incident, an elven body has its wounds tended to and raised in the infirmary of the Triads Light in Kohlingen.

*The elf known as Belad would thank any knight for the assistance*
