A small, understated parchment is posted on the mural in the Chapel of Lathander above the votives. It is unsigned and written in flowing black ink.

"Dear Aylomen,
I don't know where you are now, but I wanted to thank you for the changes you made in my life for the better. Something as simple as enjoying the sunlight again from my balcony without feeling sad or like I'm mourning the day that was left behind me, and something as important as enjoying being touched and wrapped in affection again. It was not perfect, but it was full of passion. I can start by saying that the first time I said I loved you, I didn't mean it the way someone should when they say it; as an expression of something they had never felt more sure of, and not a binding contract. But for the months that came after, of you being there for me—not all the time, but quite a few times—I did mean it. I think at some point we stopped playing by our own rules and started doing what we thought was appropriate for us to do as a couple: move in, act like a couple, talking about marriage, talk about children, never be apart, and obsess about the times when we were. At some point, it stopped being about you and I, and what we wanted when the rest of the world seeped into what we had—I know I panicked, I remember it clearly. I tried to cling, and when I couldn't, I pushed and rebelled. I swore you couldn't hear me sometimes, and you probably couldn't, while I was too frustrated at not being able to put the pieces together. Who else could I strike out at in anger? I'm so sorry it was you, and that I never had the words to forgive you, and defend you against the people that couldn't find the way to forgive you at the time. If you ever wander back this way, to this small chapel in Cordor on Amia, I hope someone will read this to you, and you'll know who it is from, and one day, maybe we'll find another chance to make it what we couldn't before.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the memories, my once and forever, Light Eternal."

During a regular visit to the Chapel, and a routine check-up to ensure the chapel remains in good condition, Loynis spots the newly posted notice and reads but a few lines before pulling his eyes away and reaching for an envelope. He put the letter inside, and wrote on the front ~Aylomen

He quietly departed, offering a smile and a verbal blessing to the idol and Redweth on his way out.
