It would seem that there are strange marks all over the Amia forest. There are several signs of digging and it would look like that someone has buried something in the ground. Near these places there's a lot of blood and dead animals.

If someone curious enough was to dig the ground in these spots, they would find melted gold coins and some items that have been destroyed.

A Halfling, emerging from the Trummels, notices the damage caused.

He suddenly had a bad sense of deja vu, which unnerved him slightly.

Crow would come across these, on his patrol of the forest, and inspect them in great detail. He would have a dire wolf with him, and would speak to the wolf and trees, to determine what caused the disturbances. Crow would try to determine if there was a pattern to the marks, by tracking as well.

*Kalinda would see the dead animals and blood and investigate, frowning deeply as she sees how many animals were killed.

She'd take a good look at the scene along with her bear companion and then head straight for the grove, her face betraying her anger.*

Several packs of feral gnomes has suffered same fate as the animals before, and there are also similar signs of digging. Most of these marks are around the old ruined temple.

Crow would learn that the killer of the animals was wearing a white cloak. It was a short creature and it was most likely very light weighted, because it didn't leave any footprints. Also he could learn that the perpetrator just appeared and butchered every living creature in sight.

No doubt, Crow spends time in, and around the ruins, as well as the surrounding Amian Forest. This new development has piqued his interest.

// he actually does go in those ruins relatively often, and has reason to, other than this particular reason //
