Help Wanted!

I am seeking warriors and mages and other interested adventurers to help me retrieve a mythal of flawless quality from the Phane.

Make no mistake, the creature is highly dangerous, capable of defeating a handful of fully seasoned adventurers. I am looking for roughly nine to twelve others to follow me to its lair in Shadowscape to acquire said rock.

I am currently making the exacting preparations to ensure that the mission has a high chance of success. Those preparations should be ready in approximately 7 days.

If you are curious as to "What is in it for me?", the phane upon its demise releases a highly desirable essence that can be retrieved by all who participate. The essence essentially reduces damage taken from divine methods of attack.

If you are interested in partaking of this venture, leave your name and contact information below. Again I remind you this is on a strictly volunteer basis.

Sincerely and Triad's Blessings,

Sir Jerand Whiterose
Paladin of Ilmater
Silver Dragon Knight

//an addendum added at the bottom reads......................"Blackguards, necromancers, palemasters and any others of malicious intent need not reply."

I've helped do so before, I can do it again.

A note is left in Kohlingen, written in a fine script, so obviously the author was not the person mentioned in the note!

Someone on behalf of Jandar wrote:

Jerand,
Please seek out Jandar in Kampo's Storehouse, a mighty warrior who is willing to help you in your challenge.

*a note left in Bendir*

I can help.

A brief, anonymous note is sent directly to Jerand Whiterose by way of Kohlingen.

Quote:

Jerand Whiterose,

I've had a crew interested in battling the Phane for some time. It seems I have some important information for you.

Come to Ceyren's Mill on Caraigh, and we may discuss this matter.

// Will be busy for the next couple days, but I'll send you a tell next time I see you IG.

A reply is left in Kholingen

I have never seen this foe, and would be most interested in standing with you against it. I can most easily be reached at the Shrine of Eilistraee.

~First Knight Chaplain, Maral d'Vharc Zau'ana

I bet butterflies would confuse the crap out of it. Can I come?

//Knowing who the Butterfly Queen really is he shoots off a letter to the Grove in her name.

Tender of the Kohlingen Trees,

You of all people are most welcome to come.

Sincerely,

Jerry

Sitting outside her hut, wrapping a number of chewed through braces courtesy of Einar, a song bird arrives dropping the letter at her feet. She smiles as she reads it out loud to the gathered critters. "Seems like the knights needs me guys." She pens a letter back to Jerry and sends the song bird away to deliver the message. "This song bird will stay with you till you need me. Just whistle twice like a red winged blackbird and she'll come get me."
Aeraline

I'll come, this essence better be worth it.

I'm in.

//The old notices are torn down and replaced by these.............

The move to fell the Phane has been put on HOLD until further notice. While reconnoitering the area recently I discovered that access to its lair is not possible. If a new lair or access to the old one can be gained I will remove the Hold status.

Thank you for all who wrote or told me they were available to participate.

Sincerely and Triad's Blessings,

Sir Jerand Whiterose,
Paladin of Ilmater
Silver Dragon Knight

(left below the notices in Bendir even after the first is taken down)
