Pamphlets and posters pop up about cordor, bendir and some even in wharftown along the most commonly travelled traderoutes. They seem to be some kind of counter to the latest masse of flyers sent from kholingen. You get the feeling that this is perhaps his first public poster he has done. It's heated and full of personal feelings.

Quote:
Who do you think you are?

To the supposed 'Enemies' of Cordor I put my pen to paper.
You come here with your bold and intimidating declarations against my hometown. With big words and elegant strokes of a pen they try to turn the isle against cordor, my home. You put fear into the hearts of my neighbours and the common man on the street. The storekeeper speaks in husshed words to his customeers of the aproaching storm, saying he might skip town if the hammer comes down. His children are, too, afraid, when they see their father exchange worried looks and concerned words with their mother.

Who do you think you are stirring fear into our hearts?

You speak of torture, sabotage, murder and terrorism on paper - But where are your evidence apart from witnesses allready on your payroll, friends allready on your side and men and women of power with their own interest in seeing the city of water crumble. You appoint so called 'Paladins' whom force their religion and beliefs down our throaths. EURemember the Eternal order when they laid siege upon the city, and blocked the caravans from entering the city perimiter.

Who do you think you are pointing fingers without a clear conscience?

The blame fell immidiatedly fell upon cordor when the reavers attacked when in truth it could be the city of so called 'light' just as much. The city of 'Light' hide behind gods such as Torm, Illmater, Tyr and believe that their enact the 'Just law' because of this faith. They believe cordor 'Evil' and full of criminals and folks trying to sieze power through oppertunity when in turn it's the city of so called 'light' whom harbour the oppertunists. Kholingen reeks of Nobles whom deem themselves better than lesser men and i need not even go back far in history to remember the oppertunistic nobles when they tried to sieze control over cordor. You don't even have democracy!

Who do you think you are putting the blame on us?

Everything in the 'declaration' posted by the northrend cities is propaganda. It is you who harbour the evil wizards, the nefarious 'So called harpers' (you're not working for good, you're working for yourself!) whom hide behind the guise of 'Good' and 'Justice'. You are wolves in sheep's clothing. Do not think we know it.
It's strange everybody points fingers for sending our good men and women to defend the lowland delta when nobody questions the increased presence from kholingen at the salandarian grounds. Neutral healers? I think not.

-Speaking out against the bullies of the north

A young mage sighs and shakes his head as he takes one in Wharftown. With a sigh he mutters quietly about the unfortunate victims of lies and propaganda, and the end of a promising young mind.

[Any of the notices that are found on a certain War Knight's route across the township of Wharftown are promptly discarded into the nearest bin.]

A certain elf, upon reading the pamphlet, murmurs to himself -- "those nobles are always breed as rabbits. ... but rabbits yield a soft fur and a fine meat."

A response is left in Bendir.

I wish to speak to the author.

Please find me in the Crouching Lemur Monastery.

A cordor guard looks at these notices with some amusement. He leaves his own reply.

"Why do you ask the good people of Kohlingen so many questions but never let them hear or defend themselves and then make baseless accusations and judgements against them without even seeing for once what they actually stand for?"

*a poster in Bendir is collected by a gnomish woman, rolled up, stuffed into a scroll case which is then stuffed in the voluminous pockets of her apron. With a sigh she heads for the Townhall. The remaining flyers are left to their own fate*

The poster is amended with a copy of a poster from one in kampos and a comment below

Simon's note is appended.

While the area of Actand is still busy with the eternal battle between good and evil, please note that Cliffside Village is now under the grace and protection of the Shrine of Eilistraee. House Jhael'yrr, a combined House of Eilistraeen and Mystran faith, has made the area our home, and we act to protect those that come forth. If you need escort through the goblins to visit, send a message or a Sending. Our House warrior, a dwarf by the name of Storrdverg, will be happy to assist you.

Sincerely,

Mister Johnsson;

If you cannot be bothered to actually come to Cliffside and meet with us, please leave us out of your propaganda. I find it tacky and tasteless that you smear using our name when you have never so much as bothered to meet with me or my il'haress.

There is a blunt response with obvious connections to the declaration posted by the northrend cities.

I would prefer you ask my opinion before assuming. I had nothing to do with what the Shrine published regarding Cordor, and if you must know, I worked /for/ Cordor until situations made it that it was better for Cordor that I left.

Do not assume. It reflects poorly upon your intellect and your intent. By assuming, you make it seem that you are in fact just eager to slander whomever you can, without bothering to find out the truth of the person you insult.

That aside, I disapprove of slander or libel on either side. It is the last refuge of a desperate mind, to turn to falsehoods and propaganda. My intent was to assist my wife in obtaining the religious teaching she desires, not to join the isle in condemning Cordor, or to join Cordor in condemning the isle.

If you have further to say, you know where to find me. I wonder, will you be brave enough to face me?
