The Golden Lion Tournament
The Golden Lion Tournament of Kohlingen shall be held at Dragonstone Keep in two tendays time (currently aiming at the end of feburary), in Honor of the High Scion of Siamorphe Lady Isabella of Benwick and the construction of the Grail Shrine. A display of honor and chivalry of those devoted noblemen and knights who serve and have served us.
With the permission and blessing of the late Lord Justicar Marinesbane of Kohlingen and our beloved Lady Justicar Cys'tana of Kohlingen, this tournament shall be hosted at Dragonstone Keep.
The Great Melee, the Small Melee, the Archery Contest and the Bardic Competetion are dedicated to Kohlingen's new allies of the Treaty of Light and open to all men and women of good heart. May this friendly competetion between our cities and the festivities celebrate this new bond of friendship.
The Joust, the greatest honor for any knight to participate in on the tourney field, shall be held in memory and honor of His Grace Duke Montgommery d'Cordor, and Her Grace Duchess Eileen d'Cordor. May this tournament and our demonstration of respect for the royal family of the Duchy of Cordor help to restore their legacy of devotion and kindess to their People.
Bakers, blacksmiths, brewers, carpenters, cooks, entertainers and minstrels are sought. Traders and artisans are welcomed to offer their services and praise their wares next to the tournament grounds.

Joust
Reward: 1st Place 2.000.000 Gold Pieces and honor to name the Queen of Love and Beauty, 2nd Place 250.000, 3rd Place 125.000
Entry: 200.000 Gold Pieces, Knighthood
Rules:
- Only those who have been granted their station of knighthood may ride in the joust.
- At the signal, the competing knights ride at eachother, carrying a lance and shield along the right side of the list.
- Three lances may be used in each jousting match. Once all three lances have been shattered, the jousting match is over.
- An unhorsing ends the match.
- One point is awarded for breaking the lance on the opponent's chest.
- Two points are awarded for breaking the lance on your opponent's helmet.
- Three points are awarded for unhorsing your opponent.
- No divine, arcane or supernatural abilities may be made us of.
Great Melee
Reward: 1st Place 1.500.000 Gold Pieces
Entry: 150.000 Per Team, a team of up to five combatents.
Rules: All Teams of the Tournament shall enter the tournament field, be introduced, salute and then engage one another after the signal is sounded.
Small Melee
Reward: 1st Place, 1.500.000 Gold Pieces, 2nd Place 250.000 Gold, 3rd Place 125.000
Entry: 75.000 Gold Pieces
Rules: Two combatents shall be determined by chance and enter the tournament field, be introduced and then engage one another after the signal is sounded.
Archery Contest
Reward: 1st Place 500.000 Gold Pieces, 2nd Place 125.000, 3rd Place 75.000
Entry: 50.000 Gold Pieces, Open to All
Rules: Only the use of the composite longbow, standard longbow, composite shortbow and standard shortbow is permitted. No divine, arcane or supernatural abilities may be made us of.
Minstrel Class - The Golden Harp
Reward: 1st Place 500.000 Gold Pieces
Entry: Open to All
Rules: The Spectators have the privelege of judging the works of art presented to them.
