By trade I am an archaeologist, and came to the island of Amia with the intent of studying the numerous ruins and abandoned areas throughout the region. In my short time here, however, it has become very apparent that even the safer locations here are subject to numerous dangers, and the ability to defend one's self is essential. To that end I am looking for an instructor to teach me how to better use and defend myself with the equipment that I have, what is clearly the bare minimum, training with: short swords and a shield.
