As the time grows near for the rum tasting, Griff, the owner and proprietor of the Nomad's Return seems to have taken note and has cleaned the bar from top to bottom. New winter flowers replace the old on the tables, candle-holders with years of dried wax are dipped in a mild acid to give the bronze a new shine, and the floorboards and corners of the bar are swept out and free of dust and cobwebs. The last addition is a small white banner hung over the door "Captain Cat's FREE Spiced Rum Tasting TONIGHT ONLY!" ((Starting in ten or so minutes.)) |
