A man in a Black overcoat delivers a badly torn up corpse to the militia, with instructions that it be sent to Ulrik for safe keeping. A letter for the magician is attached as well. |

Handled as quietly as possible, the 'package' for Ulrik would be secured by the Magister. Who, coincidentally, is not seen out and about the camps for some time following this particular delivery. |

The body, covered in its silken veil and well in the care of certain hands, would melt to ash-- commanded by none, and perhaps somewhat of a surprise to those observing it at the time. ~~~~ Theme Music Leagues away from the frozen plateaus of Brogendenstein, a quiet shudder of magic interrupts the otherwise dusty and darkened halls of a cold, stone building. In its wake, as the dust cleared and settled, a nude man knelt amidst a council of shadows. A strange, film-like substance covered his body, falling away as he rose--smoldering and steaming from the magic. His eyes were dark with a heated malice, and his veins pumped as his fingers curled and released. Before looking up to behold his surroundings, a single, small smile crept across his lips. Satisfied. "Check." |
