Post subject:  [Posting in the Blood Moon Pass Cave] A declaration!
A notice is posted within the halls of the blood pass moon cave, seemingly the only purpose being to relay propaganda.

Faithful or not, you have wandered into the realm of the Black Lord. For in time, it is He, The Lord of Darkness who will claim what is his, and by falsifying fate, or acting out of sheer ignorance, you only delay the inevitable. He permits you to live and breathe where you stand this moment.

Soon, society will know law, and order.
Soon, chaos, will be crushed and stamped out by His iron fist.
Soon, the forces of His might will be rewarded for spread His faith to all of the infidels, and blasphemers.
Soon, hatred flows within you, for all chaos and all of the mind pollutants that prevent perfect society will be demolished in His name.

How is this accomplished? Fear. It is one thing everyone has in common. Everyone has to fear something -- if they do not, then they simply have no reason to be. Fear is the most powerful motivator that can drive our society to utter excellence. But not alone.

Destruction of things one holds dear, leads a culture to hatred. After their worthless ideals are lost, and sensible ones replace their chaotic and uncivil ways, you see their true nature. It is the nature of all living beings. Fear grips their chest when they feel powerless, and in the end, a society of fear leads to tyranny; which ultimately is the beginning of law and order. It is only then, that true peace can be obtained.

By His example of the mighty Zhentil Keep, it is a living breathing protege for the rest of what inevitably will come under His rule.

No matter what station in life, it is never too late to become one in His service. He has a place for everyone serving His will. The Black Hand rewards all in His service with power, wisdom, and glory.

The time for the Black Hand has come. It is by His will that we seek to ultimately fix the chaos of this forsaken island and do what others before us could not.

I am Raz, I am here, a humble servant, and devout of the Black Lord. Should you find me, you will find your place in this chaotic subterfuge of chaos, and we shall do His will to correct the fallacies we reside in.

Serve in His name.

May the Black Hand guide you.

A man clad in obsidian armour, with a black tabard with a green trim looks at the notice with a very, very sinister grin. He leaves it in place, and simply walks off with a beholder in tow, making short work of the bears and the Bloodmoon tribe as he passes the area.

*A man wearing a powerful helmet, bearing two blades on each side, marked with old blood can be seen around. He takes a few moments on reading the notice. A deep breath could be heard all over the cave followed by a name...

He walks away after that, letting the notice intact."

A Sorceress looks at the notice, her black robes trimmed in green, her cloak bearing the Black Hand on it as she rubs the scar on her shoulder from Artmeis' brand, she stops at the Geared Guardian, speaking very softly, "Looks like the time has come... I'll have to find Artmeis. *sighs* Not my first choice of people to talk to." she leaves with the massive golem in tow.

The idol is cleaned, and not much longer after that the smell of dead bloodmoon orcs hangs heavy in the air. One female orc is placed outside the blood moon cave, pikes run through her eyes and out the other end of her skull with a note attached.

"Be warned, I will be merciful this once. Your kin will be slaughtered down to the last child if His idol is defiled once more. Protect this cave, Orc-kin, your very kind will depend on it.

There is an imprint of the black hand of bane at the base"

A small hin shaped shadow detaches itself from a dark corner of the cave. It slowly and expertly stalks across to the statue, a small can of pink paint and brush ready. The dark shadowed figure stops short and briefly bathes the statue in the soft glow of a small crystal.

As the shadows engulf him once more, only a few soft words can be heard echoing in the cavern before silence and darkness return. "Shit, too late..."

Any movement that would break invisibility, or break shadowdancing would be easily noticed by the obsidian-clad man who is actually at this very moment standing in the cave.. with a Beholder right behind him.

As the idol is cleaned the yellow paint would coil and weave into a message atop the cave floor.

"A penance for disrespect: Bring the blood of the vandal, failing that, the blood of one that openly defys Black Hand"

The paint would then shift into a darkened black and remain imprinted on the dank cave floor.

*Amontep would walk around the cave, noticing the message. He was not sure who did it, but deep to his soul he would fear and shake, reaching for an old and rusted symbol of Bane, hanging around his neck.*

On one of his running excursions nearby, a certain exercising ascetic popped in during a lull in the excitement to find the cave full of bears. Disabling them with nonlethal means, he found a discarded potions belt - likely from an unfortunate victim - with a string of Fox's Cunning potions still in it.

Venturing further and discovering the idol of Bane, he thought quietly to himself for a moment, dropping down to deposit the vials in front of the statue.

With that, he turned, a wisp of a smile on his lips, and loped out of the cave.

The dark green clad armored and helmed woman makes her rounds in the cave, checking for any interested parties. She noted the vials and inscriptions and seemed to look around for anything else.

A darkly robed figure would spend extended periods of time by the Idol. Perhaps waiting for something.

The Black Lord's servant spends an exceedingly lengthy time at the idol. She would mostly be seen during her midnight prayers and rituals.

A new notice finds it's way to the cavern.

Let it be known that Maal, ex-Banite, is now a heretic of Bane. He has defied superiors time and time again. With ample time to make up for his grievances, he continues to show neglect of service, therefore it has been decreed by the Imperceptor that he is to be captured, dead or alive and brought before His rightful church.

He once held power, gained by only his own declaration, ignoring all precedent that lay before him. He then relinquished the power to our Imperceptor. He then was placed in the new ranking system with a proper rank decided and agreed upon by the Imperceptor. He failed to adhere to the new rank, causing a ruckus in public, further being a hypocrite of his own actions. After all that was dealt with, he continued to believe that he should've held the rank "High Imperceptor". Interestingly enough, he thought himself worthy to be on the same level of our reverent Lord Fzoul, even after he'd relinquished all power, mantle of responsibility, but just sought not to be part of the church but "lead from the back" while ignoring any active member of the church. Furthering this, he threatened and is beginning to manipulate followers to his cause, separating the "sects" of Bane, into another cause; or should I say, folly.

You have been warned. If you side with Maal, then you are to be branded heretic and will be sacrificed to Bane, just as he will. May the Black Hand have mercy on your souls.

The man waiting at the idol looks at the seven foot tiefling and wonders whats going on and how someobody could miss him standing there. He speaks.

-"Hey. You! You seem to have missed me standing here precisely next to the idol."

The figure crosses his arms and looks the tiefer dead in the eye.

-"What's this power struggle about? I read the poster, too, and judging by your comment .. just now.. i take it you are the guy they speak about?"

The figure keeps his hand close to his weapon.

-"I also ask myself if you are worth anything for the author of the poster....?

"There is no power struggle, except for the Imperceptor not wishing to lose hers. Although her actions have warranted such and she tries to grasp at straws to keep it. I have had the title before and do not wish to wear the mantle again but to retire. Yet the voices of the faithful are constantly in my ear whispering words about the Imperceptor. Wishing her removed, calling her the puppet of anothers will but my Masters. Unfortunately there is none to wear the Ring of Imperceptor once she falls. I won't don it again, so I must search for someone worthy of the title. Placing her in her position was my own folly and I am tasked with correcting the problem. They speak of me wishing to be Imperceptor again, yet they are wrong. I wish no such thing but I will not stand idly by and have the Churches name slandered because of the actions of my own apprentice and the fledgling Church of Bane destroyed before it flourishes. Now is a trying time for us my child. And as such we must walk carefully. One thing the Imperceptor forgets is you must have something to control before you set tyranny into effect. It is impossible to be a tyrant of nothing. Yet she tries to do such."

The figure looks tempted to follow as he takes a step, two even, in his direction before doubt strikes and leaves him standing by the idol still. Confusion paints his face.

Yet he lingers by the statue. Hoping for a new visit?

Briefly, the idol is visited by a dragonkin, which emerged from the shadows. He did not hope for anything for
he knew that hope is a term absolutely forbidden to the true followers of the Black Hand. In the old
days, those who would dare to even use the said term, least feel it, would be whipped to the edge of
death. Hope, being the greatest enemy of FEAR , was long erased from his dictionary.
After a short prayer, the Dragonkin once more disappeared in the shadows.

An armored helmetted figure with the symbol of Bahamut adorned on his cloak visits the idol and reads the dogma written onto it. He breathes calmly, looking about the cave, then returns to the idol. He brings out a book and scribbles notes. After awhile, he leaves the cave. His stride and demeanor calm and careful. The idol looks normal, both before and after his departure.
