*A soiled piece of parchment smelling foul of some underground stench is left in a public place in cordor by a random street child. The writing is delicate and old, but shows that the hand behind it was not made for such things. The ink itself smells the worst, possibly a mixture of urine and mushroom ink.*

"Yous who call youselfs the best mages, most smartest, owners of the once order or the tower... us begs your kind listening to us. Long has it been since our transpirings put youselfs at odds with uses, and too long has it been that we are to fight. We have removed uses from the island for now, until we hear words. We wish to speak to the high cleric of Mystra, true lady of magic and creator of the weave, as you know it, about things regarding us past acts under the influence of possession, as well as things to do with the fates. We am no more than a ghost of what we was, no harm we can do to any now for we has succumb to the pull of eternity and resign as a specter on your world. Do us one last kindness to speak with us, on yous terms, to help us further our quest to find rest. Without proper knowings, we cannot let uses go from this world anymore, yet each day we am alive still we grow weaker and more pained, no mortal power can heal this. Again, we beg, return your answer to speak with us by sending a message. Those who know us can reach us there are the old ways."

*The letter is signed, however faintly as the last words of the letter fade to near nothing as if the author could not keep a quill upright for too long. The name at the bottom of the page is Maggot.*

*A certain white-haired sorcerer eyes this message for a few moments with a quirked brow. Finally, he copies it down on a clean piece of parchment, and makes his way to Kohlingen. Once there, he leaves the copy at the Seven Stars Academy, addressed to Ulrik. A short note is left pinned to the parchment*

*As the note is touched, it would appear to be completely normal, however there is an unshakable feeling that something is wrong. The paper itself is mundane, as are the words in fact if a Detect Magic was cast on it nothing would register. There is just a lingering feeling that perhaps whoever wrote the letter carried the weight of pain and sorrow while he penned the words.*
