A single grave in the Bendir Dale cemetery receives some particular treatment today: Meram's. Feather-tipped long-stemmed weeds and small leafy ground vines were plucked from the grave plot and small candles in tins are laid in their place, and the crystal ball inset in the groove of the tombstone is polished to a shine. The cluster of white flowers growing over the plot are watered and primped, their delicate faces upturned to the sky. The grassy foot of the grave is bent down where someone was sitting for some time, and a single cigarette butt alongside the road is all that is left of Meram's tender. |

A Gnomish Wizard that had been in the area on other business took the oppritunity to visit Meram's grave in silent contemplation, likely missing the person attending her grave. |

The next day, the candles are lit again and the water spots from a light Bendir Dale rain are polished off the small crystal ball set atop the tombstone. A fresh bouquet of light blue lilies is left on the mound, set apart from the little bunch of flowers growing over the plot. Another remnant of a cigarette is crushed into the roadside, and the grass is bent alongside the plot where someone was sitting again. |

Among these things, a visitor may note, is that a blue-waxen candle is set beside the tombstone. While the candle has since burned its course, the silver holder remains holding the remnants of the burned candle. Etched into this candle-holder are seven stars. Obviously, there is more than one visitor to this particular grave. |

On the third day, there is music. The hills and the western end of Bendir Dale may hear a single harmonica being played in the early evening, shortly after sundown and intermittently for the next couple hours for several minutes at a time. The wilted flowers from the day before are cleared away, and new candles are placed in the tins, but the silver candle-holder stays as it is. The bend in the grass implies someone kneeling on one knee for some time. |
