ATTENTION!

I, Don Slade t'Colton of Wharftown offer fine business opportunity to upstanding and skilled individuals of esteem. Several salaried positions are available to those who prove their worth. Positions offered and the duties therein are as follows:

  • Seneschal/Steward - Military experience preferred, but not required. Must be very competent in martial affairs and leadership. Good communications, etiquette, protocol training a must. Will be expected to command and discipline retainers and guards, ensuring the house runs smoothly and peace is kept.
  • Herald/Troubadour/Courier/Scribe - Must be trained in diplomatic, etiquette and entertainment affairs. Musically gifted. Literate. Versed in the spoken word and literature. Knowledge of multiple, popular languages (notably elven and other commonly used local tongues) a must. Additional knowledges and storytelling fluency a bonus.
  • Mage/Seer - Competent arcanist with a degree of mastery sought. A wizard with good standing in the community and stable mentality preferred in arcane matters to offer services. Dabblers and extreme experimenters in dangerous matters need not apply. Alchemy, multiple languages, knowledge of arcane matters and other realms a must. Crafting of wands and potions favored. Learned wizards preferred to those gifted with magic in the blood as I seek a learned scholar over merely someone who can cast spells, but sorcerers will not be dismissed out of hand outright.
  • Priest/Physician - In good standing with their faith and public at large. Must be competent in matters of curatives and able to heal wounds, restore life, and knowledgeable in matters of religions and faith in general. Herbalistic cures and medicinal knowledge a bonus. Waukeen, Lliira, Gond favored, but other socially acceptable deities are welcome. Druidic priests also welcome to apply. Of course outlawed and evil faiths need not apply.
  • Butler/Maid/Cook - Must know proper etiquette and have no aversion to menial tasks such as cleaning. Must show proficiency as a cook and preparer of fine meals and running a household's day to day affairs.
  • Guards - I seek a handful of skilled men in martial affairs with good standing in the community to suit my needs with some competency and discretion.

Lady Emma would stop to read this notice when she passes back into Wharftown from-- wherever it was that she had been.

Paying close attention to the portion asking for a Mage/Seer, and reading it over, when she gets to:
