viewtopic.php?f=38&t=63250 Captain of the Adventuring Division, Neveah Tarvencia, I have been informed by Speaker Maximillian, via special courier, that your division will receive a 50% increase in funding to create a special unit of Guards for the reclaimation, establishment and defense of the new township of Guldorand as a proud addition to the City of Cordor's protectorate. Congratulations Captain. I am Citizen Artum Tauri who, with my partner Citizen Taelar Ardelyn, have been appointed to undertake the task of achieving this goal. I would like the opportunity to speak with you about the new guard unit and get your thoughts on its makeup considering the many troubles that have plagued this location and the good people of this logging camp. Second note is left. Captain, I need to report that the Giant Leader was in the area where the logging camp is and was attacking the cart drivers. He then turned on me and fell me. Malatril and two others were there when I was revived. The giant had been slain by them. All three stated the lack of defenders was the cause and, as if on que, a BANITE appeared with a large red dragon following him. Malatril gave chase but he disappeared into the caves and probably headed to the lands of Khem. I have never been more convinced that we need to move with all due haste in getting our guards in place to secure the lands. The giants seem to be encroaching and Banites are back in the area near their ruined keep. Malatril also has also stated the light, durable Mithril Full Plate and Tower Shields which are extremely light yet highly durable could be had at the cost of 5000 gold per set needed. It is my intention to purchase some sets for any guards specifically assigned to the company and not directly to the town but, I see no reason to not also provide the guards of the town with similar equipment. We can even have them enchanted for a bit more coin. I was unable to locate the owner this evening but, with the giant loose in the shattered remains of the town I can understand why.
