In the Amian cities of Cordor, Kohlingen and in the town of Wharftown, the faithfuls of Lathander, Chauntea, and Selune meet and exchange greetings and blessings, seeing the coming morning as a time of celebration for the three faiths. The perfect alignment of Sun, Toril and Moon.

They can be seen together throughout the night, chatting and keeping an eye to the skies.

Rumor has it, they plan for a time of united prayer during the actual event.

Off to the side in the Temple of Selûne stands a massive female, clad in the colours of Cordor's guard. Glints of violet in her helm show where she looks, and a hand rests on the powerful longsword at her side, as though she's more standing guard than rejoicing, but she's there, just the same.

Saylgarix roams around Wharftown in his Hands of Ieryrn uniform. He seems restless, and quietly slips to the militia to be alert for Malarite activity. No celebration for the kobold guardsman this night, he paces around Wharftown, fully alert and expecting trouble...

And so it comes to pass that a gathering of Lathanderites, Chauntean and Selunites come together in Cordor North, headed by Father Redweth of Lathander, Father Gabriel of Chauntea and High Priestess Lilith of Selune. They each make speeches about the significance of the Lunar Eclipse, their coming together that morning and their respective Gods.

A crowd gather to join the tri-faith union to hear the words of the leaders of faith and to pray for thanks to the three deities. The whole event ends on a good note, with no violence or arrests.

Crow would stand with his wife and daughters, to watch the event. He looks over his family, and smiles, thinking how fortunate he is. Aly'dra receives a little squeeze, and a light kiss on the cheek for his thoughts. As he looks up, at the event in the night sky, he silently thanks Mielikki and Eillistraee for what he has.

Salema, the young Sharessin priestess, would have spent the night laying on the grass outside of the Temple of Love and gazing up at the beauty of the eclipse. Likely with her would be a copperkin named Emilly, her mate and the love of her life, spending the night basking the beauty of the phenomena.

In the city of Cordor, a man nearing his middle age would have held one of a pair of beautiful infant twins. He stood at the window of his home, his wife Janna by his side as she held the other, a strong held around her shoulders as they stood silent witness to the effect of nature.

Various others persons would likely be going about their own tasks, whether it be studying or sleeping or something more sinister, and paying little mind to the eclipse. In a darkened alcove in the Skull Crags a certain dark-skinned young woman, far more experienced than one would expect, however, would take pause and look up, her eyes drinking in the sight before applying the blade to her shoulder and slicing over it so that it matched the self-inflicted wound on the other shoulder. With barely a wince, she would let out a low moan and portal away for a rendezvous in Shadowscape.

Krugan will be seen with Amenia moving about seemingly normally.

He will in fact be disturbed at the festivities and looking for Shar Worshiper reveling in the power of Shar overcoming that of her sister Selune.

He will whisper to Amenia,

"So much revelry on a night where Shar's power is greatest and Selune is weakest. Have these people learned nothing? The dogma of Shar clearly states her desire to destroy Selune. That love is a lie and only hate endures."

(reference)

During the night, he will keep an ever watchful eye on the Dale and the lands immediately around the fort. He will carefully watch the Shar symbol on the Stone of Darkness he carries to see if there is any change in the rune or any indication of a Shar worshiper near him.

As the moon reappears, the lonely guard stands by Selûne's statue, and a smile creases her worn, youthful face.

"You always come back. You never stay gone. You're always here for me...for us all."

She bathes in the burgeoning silvery glow, eyes closed and her skin turning a platinum in the ligaht, faith in her Lady renewed and reaffirmed. For that brief moment, Katina is alive and exultant, even if quietly so.

The young Kobold clad in Blue and lavender, Zeo, would be seen sitting on a the hill that over looks Bendir Dale with a loaf of bread in hand watching as the moon gained its blood red hue with Awe and excitement in his eyes.

A raven-haired priestess garbed in a black, red, and gold dress stands out on the road leading north out of Cordor, watching the eclipse intently, a curious look upon her face. Her expression is unreadable, though she looks sad, forlorn even.

Pilineth would stare up at the moon alongside Waldo and Laurel, and only one thought crossed into her mind. "I wonder if the Tue-tel'quessir are getting drunk over this..."

At least one of them would be true to Pilineth's thoughts. Daerah had nested himself for the night in a treetop in the wild, gazing at the sky. His companions the moon, his thoughts, a sizeable bottle of brandy and a harp that was thoughtlessly caressed to produce sound.

Atop the cliffs outside Kampo's a Drow in red and black clothing quietly watches the event with a smile, the red shade of the moon at full eclipse matching his own hair perfectly as it is blown about in the night air. And as the eclipse comes to an end he simply fades into the shadows once more.

Snobbles stands at the back of Bendir Dale, beside his tent, looking up and watching the moon, releasing a whistle as if impressed, pulling his stool from his tent and popping a bottle of ale to watch the show.

*mia looks up at the eclipse from kohlingen with absolute horror (even for a paladin) seeing the symbol of shar materialise on the night sky*

Zelly, having seen the eclipse from the walls of the Kohlingen Keep, only briefly ponders the possible meanings of the face of the moon being cast into darkness and taking on a reddish hue as the light it's given is snuffed out by Toril's perfect placement between the moon and the sun. Seeing the rejoicing of the Selunite and Lathanderan faiths, though, she dismisses her brief confusion and continues her work with a smile.

In Edonil a certain priestess hears of the event and shakes her head. "Another example of the elves ruining everything. Now they manage to do this with their wild and evil illusion magics in an obvious effort to frighten the humans into doing their bidding."
