A huge and random trail of death and destruction can be seen in many areas around Amian Island going cold now, a day cold.. The direction of the slaughter is random and Chaotic it seems but it is complete.. Far more than any wandering adventuring company or patrol could unleash upon the creatures that lived in its wake.

The creatures and wild living humans are not only killed, they were slaughtered beyond recognition. Crushed and hacked and torn limb from limb with various types of weapons from a huge amount of overwhelming blows and their corpses left to rot.

Whatever did this did not bother to cover their tracks and it could be seen by any that a, very, very Large group of biped creatures had done this.. A more experienced Ranger would note the creatures were of dainty feet, agile and gracefull and made impressions that said they dressed in armour from the added wieght of such but moved slightly slower at times.. times that coincided with brighter sunlight of that day. Sometimes the tracks and slaughter just stop and end suddenly where the huge group had grouped together in smaller groups and just... Vanished.

This slaughter can be seen all over the Skull Crags and the Trummels, The wilds of the Forest of Amia, The entire of the Luminorian coast between the outskirts of the two towns, Uhm and Wharftown and The Forest of Despair with foreys into the lands surrounding it... Road wardens near any of the routes were strangly.. or with reason left alone.. perhaps to tell of what they witnessed pass.

Something like this would not go unnoticed by the ranger of Oakmist. Crow would track as best he can, which way they came from, and the direction traveled. Based on what he was able to find out (orig. post), he crosses this with information he was recently given, to make an educated guess as to who it is.

The oldest of all the tracks and slaughter are to be found coming from the beach near the foothills of the Skull Crags, the aptly named sandy Beach.. and all around the Skull crags eventually to the Trummels.

The tracks at mid range time are found in the Amian forest and coming out of the Amian forest and onto the Coast of Luminor and towards the outskirts of Wharftown eventaully.. there they Vanish.

The youngest of the tracks were to be found at the Forest of Despair.. There it appears, after a time and foreys to the surrounding areas by smaller groups or individuals, the group lessened in size slightly and those left went in smaller groups.. Vanishing to somewhere else, possibly spreading their net over more of an area.

A drow druid, following the tracks leading to Wharftown would walk around the twon asking it's inhabitants if they had seen anything anything that might've hinted out the person, being or group that might have done this.

Confused, angered and determinated he'd now be in full-guard trying to track down the chaotic force that has caused all the destruction and death.

The townsfolk would have seen nothing as the tracks just stopped and say the group huddled and vanished before actually reaching the town proper.

// not to intrude, and hate to further the ooc chatter, but the townsfolk isn't chained to the city in my opinion... some travel the raods, others just go to have a walk or have sex in the bushes right outside the town... you get the gist

// Sex in heavily bandit/ brigand infested areas? Realy?.. Common sense please.. So in your opinion if i am doing something say in the amia frontier west.. killing goblins/ wolves and boar right away from the transition to cordor say and someone asks a Cordor guard what i was doing at that time.. We have to go through the PM a DM with what went on and let them post what happened or not? When its obvious what the answer would be.

The rule is a damn good one and i agree with it but as i say.... common sense please. Because if that is the case then all anyone has to do, to find out what anybody is doing and where everyone is, at any given time all over and anywhere in amia is.. "Ask an NPC". What a wonderfull precidence that will create let alone increase the work load for the DM's.

Lock this.. No point now Pedantasism has ruined it.

// You don't get to decide when a public, IC topic gets locked. I'll be pruning the posts shortly. Gunz told you not to presume to control the NPCs, which is what you did, by stating they saw nothing. If we want the towns people to see something, they see it. That is for the DMs to decide I'm afraid. Now keep IC, the next person to post an OOC reply gets a three day vacation from the forums.

Crow follows the path he found, daily, going the route at different times of the day and night.
He would stop for a while at the Sandy Beach, and Forest of Despair, watching...and waiting.
