(Posted in Cordor, Kampos, Bendir, Uhm, Wharftown, Zanishbon -the posters are placed only once, and not refreshed)
My silk business is under direct threat by the specific druids of the Grove. I require someone who is versed in their ways and absolute law to explain the finer details. The law does not seem to be written openly, for it is only trees animals and plants that I see in these wild woods. I wish to secure a means by which I will be allowed to continue my business within' these woods as they hold a favorable location to both my livestock and customer supply in the form of travelers.
I have been attacked a few times, and forced to defend my life on such occasions. -once being brought back from the brink by a sympathetic traveler. All of my attempts to peacefully communicate with members of this circle have been refused, their preferred option is; upon seeing me, leave for a few minutes, and return with every spell they know fully applied telling me to leave or die. Again I say, no peaceful communication has taken place thus far with these indigenous peoples. The situation is dire, timely response is a plus. A portion of my continued business shall go toward the one who aids me with this dilemma, persistent payment based on progressive results toward a favorable trade environment.
The Keeper of Silk, Theros Ethe'ri

~Cordor~
Within Amia forest the Grove specifically the ArchDruids hold the law, so if your unwelcome there you simply should seek else where. Finding a lawyer would not help you at all, and rather be a waste of time in my view its a forest not a city.
Lt Belalad Feiwallyan
*Would remove the poster in Cordor, simply stating waste of space on the notice board.*

*Elana leaves a reply at the post in Bendir*
We have explained to you repeatedly that the forest is not your personal marketplace and that you should seek another place for your trade. And that we have attacked you is a lie. You have been told to pack up your camp and given the option of leaving peacefully every time you have been approached by members of the Grove, which you have responded to by attacking us, once killing a lone member of the Grove this way. Your hostility and disrespect towards the Grove and the forests' protectors means you are henceforth no longer welcome within Amia Forest's boundaries.

Crow copies Elana's response, and places it on the Kampo's note. Quote: We have explained to you repeatedly that the forest is not your personal marketplace and that you should seek another place for your trade. And that we have attacked you is a lie. Lyle also leaves a reply on the Bendir one.
Are you stupid? The forest isn't a town or anything with rights guaranteed to citizens and visitors.

A rather irritated kobold in Wharftown, wearing his Hand of Ieryn uniform posts a note right below the original.
It's simple, don't behave like an idiot and you won't have problems with the druids of the Grove. Simple enough? Whatever you do, don't bleed your problems with them here.
Saylgarix
He would later be hiding from open view, and watching who might be taking an active interest in these notes in Wharftown.
Later on a new portion is briefly edited onto the note.

A certain graying-haired half-elf can be found posting up, with a snort, his own reply in Wharftown.
A lawyer, to deal with druids? Don't be a fool, man. We've no care for your silly law, nor your blasted politics. A Grove by its very nature should be politically - and thus 'legally', for complete lack of a better phrase - apathetic (and please do note that I use the phrase apathy instead of neutrality very specifically [of course, the locals failure to keep such is one of the many, many reasons why I still hold to this very day that the only hope rests in the hands of independents!]). A lawyer will profit you nothing. If you dislike their 'rulings', then you have but two options: Swallow the pill and go elsewhere to do your business, or grow bigger teeth than they have and suffer the consequences. I hope you found this to be helpful. Toodles.

A shadowy figure in blue and silver leathers eyes the note curiously. She tacks up her own note and wanders off, longbow being re-strung as she walks.
Like it or not, the Forest is a town now. The Grove is its police. Do as they say, or face death or torture.
Such is the way of things, and as it has been for a long time. It's unlikely to change.
I would suggest finding another place to sell your wares. That's not a good one, or healthy one, for you.
Wren Ghalen.

*Theros would wait a few days shifting through the responses, muttering to himself as he reads through the replies.*
No rights rights guaranteed to citizens and visitors...
..not a town..? No real law..?
'should' be apathetic, but is not.
Do as told or face death or torture... that seems to be true.
No real law, then, chaos ensues...survival of the fittest, nothing to enforce but sheer will.
They publicly deny any attack?
*He shakes his head and exhales with a deep sigh*
They are no friends to free trade.
--
*A few letters are left upon large trees near the crossroads*
To whom it may concern,
It seems this is a lawless land, filled with chaotic indigenous brutes who are Abyss-bent on limiting free trade within these well traveled, yet wild, woods. Such uncivilized behavior is not tolerable, nor acceptable for economic progress. The wild animals do not have the spells that these natives do, take care to not underestimate their cultists' magical abilities. If you are a merchant or caravan seeking to trade in peace, and in need of protection, contact with myself and other civilized beings is encouraged. Together we may better safeguard ourselves and our merchandise from these blood-seeking natives. Together we may better ensure that free-trade shall be made available to all who seek it.
Did I mention it's tax-free, within these lawless lands?
I look forward to working with you.

*Upon noticing the sudden lack of letters, he occasionally places them about in different locations, some near entrances, some on random trees, one by the cave, they are scarce yet present. Additional copies are posted at Kampos, Wharftown, and Uhm.*

A man in plate armor drops a message by one of the posters.

A copper kin has one of the latest notices personally delivered to her and she snorts upon reading it. She goes about and makes her own note, attached to any of the posted notices that remain.
Attention!
Copper Industries does not support the ravings of this madman. As merchants have been specifically called to answer this plea of insanity, I thus put forth my condemnation of this so-called infringement on free trade. The forest may be free of taxes, but it is also no place for a merchant stall. Setting up shop in the middle of the forest reaches only a very select group of adventurers - a habit harnessed by amateurs who don't know how to properly conduct business.
I will not openly condemn others who support this, but I am sure I have made my stance clear. Anyone who expects the assistance of Copper Industries with anything regarding this little stunt will be turned away. Trade where you can. The game of coin does not move in blood and inflated egos.
See you at Story Night!
Zelly Copper Industries

The Keeper of Silk, Theros Ethe'ri It's a forest and you're seeking out civilized laws? That's like going into a cave and getting pissed at the bear for smashing your stand. This is their land to do with as they wish. If you respect them and their code they will not force you from their lands. I guarantee bringing more merchants in would be of little coincidence. Your business will not improve if you seek out an altercation with the natives, since your primary consumer would be.. the natives and guests of the natives. As well, YOU are seeking out the trouble as you are not showing them any respect in their own land. How would you like it if they came into YOUR home and set up a shop? Merchants disturb the natural beauty of the Forest, stick to the cities where you're permitted.. While you remain permitted in some. *The note is unsigned but written in neat yet sharp angled letters*
