Any soul traveling through the Kobold inhabited foothills of the eastern frontier, upon entering the lonely and humble barn would stumble upon a scene of utter gore, those of weak constitutions may be compelled to retching their picnic lunch.

Blood is prominently splattered about the decaying hay, oaken walls and earthen floor of the structure. To the side of the barn is the splintering debris of a broken wagon, something had been thrown violently into it. A few feet from the wagon there is a pile of what appears to be a mass of black hair that had been roughly shaved away. Turning ones gaze upward - The shattered corpse of an Elven maiden is pinned to the back wall by her hands and thighs, sharp splintering stakes of wood binding her to the wall. Her extensive injurys include superficial lacerations over her stomach, infernal runic symbols carved into her flesh, many shattered bones, her eyes gouged out with evidence of roughness, and her neck has been savagely rended open by some razor implement. Near by, one may find her discarded vocal organs, never to ring melody again. Her hair has also been shaved crudely from her scalp.

Though, perhaps prominent among her injurys is a scabbing tattoo, visible through torn trousers on her bare thigh. Those with knowledge and sufficient bravery to approach the body would see the symbol of Loviatar tattooed professionally on her flesh.

The body would be removed, although nothing was done for the rather grisly scene of the crime. There's a bloodstain on the wooden crates at the back of the barn where the body was staked up, and still plenty of evidence left for those inquisitive enough to look for it.
