Post subject:  Trouble in Guldorand

It was a night like any other in the lumber village of Guldorand. The villagers had made their way indoors for the night, unknowing of the shadows that lingered just out of sight. From within the Log Jammer, the shapes of several very darkly clad figures manifested into sight. Their flesh and clothing were covered in the deepest black, making them very hard to see until they were very close. They swarmed the residents of the inn, subduing them before dragging them outside. Once away from the Inn, the shadowy figures vanished into a portal, taking their prisoners with them. Before stepping into the portal, one of the figures turned toward the inn, bombarding it with fireball after fireball, before diving into the portal to escape the blasts.

By the time the dust had settled there was nothing left of the monsters who swept through the town in the cover of darkness. The explosion could be heard all around the mountain, drawing the attention of nearby adventurers who arrived on the scene hoping to help. They were far too late. The damage had already been done and several of the villagers were missing. Two were dead. It would seem that whoever had caused this injustice to Guldorand had got what they came for. The black shadowy figures had vanished as quickly as they came. Passing like the a storm over the quiet town.

On one of his many trips to the logging town to work on more wares for his carpentry business, Leonid paused as he saw the smoke rising from the inn. His jaw agape, he dropped his tools by the leyline node and he walked up slowly, asking the survivors (if any) what had happened. After inspecting the damage to the inn, he went back to gahter up his tools, saying to himself:

"Time to put my carpentry skills to use."

A black and green, spiked armour-clad individual bearing the symbol of the Black Hand of Bane upon his cloak and upon his chest plate, stands upon the bridge that leads down the crags, watching the chaos from a distance, he seems genuinely surprised after the bombarding of the inn with the fireballs though seems more angry at the fact most of his belongings had been in his room had been destroyed, with the exception of his flail, much to his delight.

Silgara Tir'Annal comes to Guldorand some time after the events. She looks over with an expression of shock and horror, she rushes over. The sun elf offers her magic to aid the villagers in whatever capacity.

After a day's spent helping out, she's off as silently as she came, along with her exceptionally lazy familiar.

On her patrol, a short, green-haired woman spots the site of destruction and rushes to aid.

A Gnomish Wizard endeavours to check in on the Guldorandi every so often for the next while to ensure they are doing alright.

*A larger man wearing an obsidian armor and a powerful helmet bearing two blades on watch side notices the smoke from the ruins of the Banite temple and walks toward to check the issue*

The Guldorand locals seem uninjured for the most part, the worst being some scrapes and bruises from a quick scattering through the moutainside during their escape.

With so many people lending a hand, the Logjammer's minor damage is quickly fixed and things seem to have returned to normal for the most part. Though the employees of the Logjammer seem to be rather quiet and introverted of late.
