*Odd paper with carefully scribed letters (and even some clumsy little sketches in the margins) has been attached to the boards in Kohlingen and Cordor.*
Greetings, good citizens.
Well, it shames me to admit so but it seems I've been punished for my greed. Though things such as these usually happens to me, it was not, actually, so good idea to take that ring from the dead (well, he was not SO dead, I mean he could move and even tried to kill me, so I decided to take something from him for being rude and all). I was searching for some ingredients for that crazy mage Aidan (or was it Aiden? Ah... Nevermind) that lives around there (at least he paid me in the end) and accidentally got in that heavily trapped tomb near Caraigh. Though, it had no ingredients there, there was that undead thing with that damn ring. So, I've got rid of the first, and taken the second. And here comes the problem. As I put it on my finger, it become as heavy as a fat bridge troll (like the one I've killed near Aidans tower some time before), and I could barely move with it (good that I know some tricks to improve my strength). The worse thing that I couldn't actually remove it from me. I even tried to ask some priest and paladins later, but all they could help me with is to identify that damn object as "Cursed Chieftain Ring". Who in the nine hells that chieftain is, they had no idea though... One cleric actually told me that it can be removed if I'll drop it in some kind of pond in the midnight (no other details I afraid, scrying magic can me so mysterious sometimes), though, I've searched the whole island, and tried every lake, creek and pond on my way. And still had no luck... So I am now on my own with my miserable fate and unbearably heavy ring in that. That's why I am looking for any help from anyone who can know something about the ring itself, the chieftain that had it before, or a pond at least, where I can get rid of it. So, if you'll have some information about it Thankies in advance.
*Signed with a signet ring with two little birds flying through harp without strings*
P.S. If you'll have any information on that, you can either post under or just write down of where and when we can meet to discuss it (if you're not much of writing as I usually do).
