Contest of Gladiators

Do you have a slave or gladiator youre looking to make profit on? This is the event for you! For a mere One Hundred Thousand coins you may submit a Gladiator for the pits. Whomever's gladiator survives the fight will win the pot of the collected entry fees. The more who enter, the bigger the prize!

All entered gladiators and their masters will meet in Underport. The gladiators will be taken to the armory room where they will be stripped of all of their belongings. They will then be given their choice of armor or clothing from the options we have available. The gladiators will be given nothing but clothing! The fighting grounds will be littered with weapons, shields and wild card items that can be collected durring the fight. They may only use what they find on the ground!

Gladiators must be moderately trained adventurers in physical or ranged combat. The use of spells is strictly prohibited! NO MAGIC! The location of the Tournament will not be announced until right before the combatants and their masters portal to it. Portals will be provided by the Hosts.

Once more, whomever's gladiator wins the fight will recieve the collection of entry fees so tell your friends! The more people you bring, the more money you (and your gladiator if you feel generous) might win!

Interested parties should meet in Underport for details and registration within the next tenday! Good luck!

Looking for Low-Mid level warrior characters Ideally level 5-15.
Will begin in Underport after I get home from work.

If you dont have a sponsor and want to participate, just take the roads around known Slaver hunting grounds and dont use your portal wand or the cart service. The more you wander the roads, the greater your chances of coming accross a slaver party looking for gladiators.

An extremely pissed off kobold in Wharftown would be removing the notices, should any be found there. He would lie in wait in hiding, to ambush any who would be putting them up.

//Due to your characters (faction collective) being banned from several places, you need to declare both who posted and exactly where these are posted. Failure to do so will result in this being locked and nulled.

//They are posted in the following cities: Tarkuul, Underport, Zanishibon, E'donil and Khem. I posted some and a mate posted a few others. None are posted in "Good Cities" save for Khem (which we havent been banned from to my knowledge and if thats incorrect then it can be easily removed from the list.

The "Random Places" Denotes postings in the desert roads, the frontier roads and other roads between the various settlement. In otherwords... The postings are in random places that the faction and its affiliats are not banned from, for obvious reasons.

Lets keep this IC though please. Any further questions can be directed to me in PMs.

//It will be going on in about 4 hours. Anyone interested in submitting a gladiator should go to underport around then. Anyone interested in being "captured" to become a gladiator -- Just travel the roads more and avoid portals and carts.

A large crowd had gathered in Undeport, it would seem the Slavers hosting the event were looking at a good turnout. Aside from the slaves that the hosts had provided, many other Gladiators were entered by various sponsors. The host, Viz'aun Vandree could be seen in the center of the crowd, explaining the rules of the fight. After all the gladiators were prepared, the portals were opened and the gathering stepped through to the other side.The tournament went as planned, with the gladiators fighting viciously till the bitter end. In the end, only the drow gladiator, Acerbus Vandree walked away. He displayed cunning and skill using the various dangers of the battle field to his advantage, successfully leading his enemies into snares and traps.
