A poster makes it to the Winyan Noticeboard as well as Bendir and Kohlingen.

Fellow Winyan Citizens and Respected Allies,

I would like to welcome you to the official beginning of the Winyan Academies – Arcane Branch. This branch of the Academies will stand as a resource of knowledge and aid in all matters arcane made of individuals willing to share their insights about the Art. Any citizen of Winya or respected ally of the city may express interest in becoming a teacher. We welcome your lessons. Anyone who would normally be allowed entrance through the first set of gates may attend lessons. For teaching opportunities do not hesitate to contact me directly and let me know of your interest. Although only wizards, bards and sorcerers may take on a teaching position, or a one-time lecture on a chosen subject, folk of all professions, occupations and interests are welcome to attend classes so long as they are permitted entrance within the city.

I will offer the first lesson and it will take place on 8th Marpenoth.

Introduction to Magic
A brief History of how it Began.
The Deities of Magic.
Defining the Weave. Considering the Shadow Weave.
Comparison between the Arcane and the Divine.
Dead Magic and Wild Magic areas explained.
Other.


All attendees will receive a symbolic Staff at the end of the presentation.
