A spattering of latent ley energy and a bear shouldered Mulan with a whipcord youth at his side step out from the leyline node in Wharftown. Carefully they set down the burdens they are carrying and then immediately portal out. This is repeated numerous times, a growing stack of crates marked with a Djedtan Trade House seal are set down just out of the way of the nodes exit point.

The male and the whipcord youth return a last time and begin ferrying the crates to the temple, leaving a note with the Priestess' and Acolytes of the contents via an inventory list:

1 Crate Papyrus
4 Crates Life and Harmony: Weapon Oil
2 Crates Dates
2 Crates Assorted Alcohols
2 Crates Assorted Minor Goods
1 Crate Epic Tiered Weaponary

The Male, who identifies himself as the Arbitrator Tauronemhet of Djedet, asks the Priestess' to allow him to use a small corner of their temple as a cache until such time as the shipment can be properly delivered into the hands of the Militia.

The sole Mulhorand inhabitant is notified and quickly attires himself to see what is going on. He assists the youth in carrying the boxes to the Temple and then proceeds to stand guard about them, until the militia arrives to assist in moving the materials to the Barracks where they can be properly stored.

If asked he identifies himself as Mahir Ramathant, and as Alanna's Military Advisor.

A kobold wearing the colors of the Hands of Ieriyn watches the goings on, but remains quiet and distant unless directly addressed. Saylgarix watches for potential trouble, but otherwise does not interfere with Tauronemhet's proceedings.

After seeing the shipments in the Temple, Alanna takes down a copy of the materials list, and gives one to Mayor Griff and the Militia commander. She does her best to make sure the goods are distributed evenly to the militia, updating the gear of those most in need of it first.

A priest of Osiris will help with the shipments, go about offering prayers of blessing and tend any wounds that happen with kits and magic. He also offers to do the ceremonies of burial to ensure none of those that have passed will be disturbed.

Following the priest, clearly acting as guard, a quiet young woman bearing the symbol of Nephthys greets everyone she meets with a warm smile and a greeting in Mulhorandi. Unless ordered by one of the higher ranking Mulan, she is never more than two steps from the Osirant priest's side. Her dark eyes constantly scan for threats, but there's nothing malicious in her bearing, merely a protective bodyguardish quality. Her bearing and markings suggest she is no priest, nor a mage, but neither is she a slave. A daughter of the free educated, she knows and embraces her role as the priests' subservient.

Mahir does not recognize the woman and steps in between her and the priest quickly to question her.

What is your name?

Your parents?

What status do you bear?

Why do you serve this newly reformed priest, and not a proper from the township Djedet?

He inspects her clothing and the markings upon her brow as well in order to verify some of this. As well as offers to purchase a robe fitting her station if she passes.

She responds that her name is Meskehenet Chalthoum, and while she is well born of a jewel-crafting family in Neldorild, she is not nobility, nor is she a slave. She is the eldest of three children of the family, and has come to Amia to represent her people in this strange foreign land, to ensure that the Wealth of her Lady that can be acquired is funnelled back into the Mulhorandi empire, not into the outsiders' coffers. Her appointment, it seems, is because the young priest ordered her to be his guard, and she could not refuse, else she would of course face punishment. Not that she wished to refuse, as a lone priest is a great target and she would be remiss not only to the gods, but to her conscience, if she did not protect him with all she had.

Her appearance is altogether pleasant, though she's no stunning beauty. Dark eyes and clear olive skin, a rounded face with almost chubby cheeks, and dark hair pulled back from her face save a fringe that hides a forehead bare of paint, as a middle-class woman would be. While she's a warrior of some kind, and bears a fighter's physique, she wears her family's cartouche below her medallion of Nephthys, and it's easily recognizable that she has spoken truth.

(Cedric would wait and watch the exchange and, speaking in a low voice in Mulhorandi, talk to Mahir)

As I once was separated from our people, so I believe she has become. Given that I have found several of our people now, I thought it best to keep her close to see if she carries herself as is proper and so, I asked her to be my attendant and guard. We spoke and fought for a time, in which she did her job well as my protector. There are places where my divine protector is not welcome as he is seen as undead as you know.

I have left word with the Lord Arbitrator asking that she be able to attend the meeting he has called as she has made her home here in Wharftown. He has left word we are to gather all our people we can find if they are willing to come. (link)

I believe it is a good omen that our people are coming to be found my friend. A good omen indeed.

Mahir eyes the priest so firm in his new found footing but pays his respects and returns to his small office in Alanna's to work through contingencies and planning for arming and training the militia.
