[A large notice, posted about the city. It is scribed in a fine hand, with a very artful edge to it.] Mercenary seeking work within the city or outside it. Bodyguard, bounty hunting and standard combat work all acceptable, additional types of work may be undertaken upon negotiation. Price also subject to negotiation. See in person to discuss. Written responses to this notice will take longer to be responded to. Seek out a large man of eastern decent, wearing brown robes with a pair of scimitars. Sabkhat the Younger. [Below this named there is a Mulhorandi-styled hieroglyph, depicting a frowning cat. Below the cat, there is a very crudely and roughly drawn depiction of the sun, setting behind a pair of mountains. The drawing is rather akin to one a child or someone unused to writing would produce, and done in an obviously different hand than the rest of the note.] |

Two people would take note of the posting on that day. The first, a young Mulhorandi priestess of Sharess, paused to read it with a little sigh. Again my people come, and still I wonder what that fortells. There second is a man clad in black, approaching at nightfall. With nary a sound he stood beside the post, only a keen eye being able to spot him, and he copied down the notice. Circling the name on his copy he nodded to himself and crept stealthily away. |

*Cedric reads the notes and copies them, his symbol of Osiris, as always, clearly seen* Maybe of my people seem to be about, as I was told yet, I have found none that even recognize the symbol of my lord....its disturbing. I really must make this trip to Khem, even if it is alone. Perhaps this fellow seeking work...or Ms. Zelly may know someone... *He moves off looking around to see if he can finally find some of his people.* |
