A hastily written letter accompanies a map, delivered to both of these locations... To whom it may concern, We have reason to believe that tomorrow, there will be an attack from sea. The attacker, a druid of Umberlee, has been using storms and sea creatures to wreak havoc. Already, there have been attacks (or incidents) between Wharftown and Uhm at the Umberlee shrine, at the lake in the woods just west of Winya Ravana, at Minmir Bridge, at the Eilistraeen Shrine, and at Actand's cliff village, in that order. We have good reason to believe it will continue along that same path, heading either north towards Kohlingen or south towards Cordor. If it heads north, it is likely that the Salandrans are the next target. If south, Guldorand. I'm aware of the improbability of it being Guldorand, given their altitude, but a warning is due anyway. I would prepare against tidal waves, water cyclones, sea monsters (jellyfish, Awakened Octopi, and even a kraken have been used so far), and any other sort of magic a druid is capable of. My prayers are with you, Cilessa Isylunae The maps would be of the Amian island, with red X's drawn over each of the attack sites, along with a notation of the type of attack at each one: Bodies found at Umberlee's shrine, Jellyfish at Winya's Crystal Lake, Jellyfish and an Awakened Octopus at Minmir Bridge, a kraken at the Eilistraeen Shrine, and a cyclone plus a tidal wave at Actand's cliff village. |
