Rumors might spread that in the late hours of the night, a scene of violence was present in the depths of Underport. Onlookers might have noticed a coalition of Knights, Wizards and Warriors storming the gates of the city. They marched to the door step of one of the private homes within its province. Guards and residents would look on as this coalition would kick in the door and storm the home. Whispers would tell that this group had come to free a collection of slaves from the grasp of Viz'aun d'Vandree and his affiliates.

The destructive sounds of battle would echo through the cave in the following hour. When the sound of warfare would fade, a river of blood would flow from the entrance to the home. The city guard would approach cautiously, curious about the result of this home invasion. A woman would step out of the house covered in powerful magic. She would exchange words with the soldiers of Underport, she would return inside the home.

A few minutes later, the mangled corpse of a warrior known as Erik would be thrown into the street from the doorway to the home. The house would then fall silent. No movement or activity could be seen from within henceforth. A well trained ear might have heard the sound of things being moved inside and then a portal opening. Then there was only silence. Where the slavers had gone, one could only speculate. One might assume they left with easily double the slaves the had arrived with. Save the dead Erik, none of the home invaders would be seen again. They could be either presumed utterly dead or in shackles being sold at an auction somewhere....

//Thanks to everyone involved for the event. While it was indeed a bit of a headache and hit a few snags, all worked out in the end. Thanks to all the DMs who were present and thank you to all the Invaders who provided us with the conflict roleplay! Good job everyone!

Drumming dark fingers on her desk, a young, tense drowess sends out a missive to the pale sorceress.

Naltyrr would be seen laughing and perhaps heard making a few comments about surfacers getting what they deserve!

//For reference, please leave NPC reactions to the upstairs folks  That is not what the guards did outside of the house...//

*During the conflict, the guards simply enforced the peace, making certain it did not spill out into the streets. Only after the sounds of combat coming from within subsided did they descend upon the house. Those close enough would have 'heard' the open and pointed message of warning they brought to the one that answered the door. Following this warning, a single Thrall was left near the door as a deterrent as the guards themselves returned to their posts, satisfied in the knowledge that those within had some semblance of what would happen if such trouble was brought to Underport again.*
