Word begins to spread across the island..
"Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Ghostly jackals have been spotted in the Amia Forest and nearby locations! Those who fall to their bites find themselves infested with horrible beetles! These beetles grow and consume each other in the body of the victim. If conventional healing magic is attempted to cure the infestation, the victim will burst open and a demonic beast will come forth. At the moment it is suspected there are two different swarms of beetles in the area, who similarily have the ability to infect hapless travellers!
All travellers, take heed and be watchful on the roads!"

Staying near Cordor though not exactly entering it, a dark clothed elven ranger hears the word and quickly writes down some notes, she then folds it and scurries off with her dire wolf following close.

Upon the lack of response, there's an uncharacteristic hasty waving-off of the servant; Irae has a pile of books and papers before her, and seems to be trying desperately to make order of....something.
