A small scroll tube is tucked (very carefully it seems) into the hands of one of the elemental protectors at the back of the grove, with a small paper attached to the outside, addressing it to an arch-druid or elementalist of the grove. The scroll tube itself was left by a man in a plain blue-grey traveler's long coat, with shirt and leather pants that easily look like they belong to a simple commoner. Sandy-blond hair and nondescript facial features, the only things that really sets this man apart are the two matching tattoos (one under each eye) and the gold coin that constantly rolls across the knuckles of one hand. //Whoever picks this up, please let me know |

Elana would pick the scroll from the elemental, wondering why it wasn't given to a ranger guard instead. //Can PM me with the details. ^^ |

After a week, with no letters returned, another scroll tube is delivered (this time into the hands of the more trustworthy rangers, rather than left tucked into an elemental) by the same man as before. The only difference is that this time the scroll tube is not sealed, and could therefore be read by any number of members of the Grove, whomever the rangers would entrust it to. The scroll tube and letter within are both entirely mundane and the note is written in Common, though the text itself has flourishes similar to Draconic and something more exotic. Guardian of the Grove, Though I have spoken with one or two of your number on this matter already, I have received widely conflicting and confusing answers thusfar. It is my hope that speaking to a senior member, perhaps an arch-druid or specifically an elementalist, might provide some better answers. I write this letter in the hopes that you might find the time to answer some questions regarding elemental spirits, the elemental planes, and how both interact with the material world. Though I am an aspiring scholar in matters magical and historical, I have little more than basic knowledge of the natural world and so turn to those who make it a part of their lives. Any replies can be sent to the Mayfield in Kohlingen. Kind regards, Ranallas Dal |

A duplicate of the second message, is again left with the gate guard of the Grove by a slightly perturbed looking man, matching the description of the previous scroll bearer. |
