The notices reads simply:
"Dear Amians,
I am Basilius Dragorwroth, once a seasoned warrior in a platoon of twenty knights. I have served as their knight commander, as well as a strategist for the first one. I had laid down my arms to my previous lord, and had retired at the young age of 24 with my first wife Liara. It brings me great regret to write for my happiness was shortlived. Two years ago we were attacked by orcs and only I survived, my wife slain by the damned hellbeasts. Her last fading breath when I came upon her was for for I to escape and never look back. Our house destroyed, and I again alone I had traveled again longing for a meaning. After two years of my search I have stumbled upon Amia, and I believe this is the place where I can lay down my burdens, to start anew and take up the sword again. I request to join with any representatives from any group of knights on Amia. I am very rusty as my old blade and equipment I had left with my liege lord for his keeping. I however guarantee my tactics, heart for battle, and drive to protect innocents will make me a worthy ally among you great knights of this land. I await your contact with a steady heart at the Inn within Cordor.
- Basilius Dragorwroth"

A young woman with short, cropped black hair approaches the notice in Cordor and pens a response in a thin, tight script...
I'm in need of a bodyguard as I try to find my way through these lands. Pay can be negotiated when we meet.
I can be found most evenings in the Nomad's Return.
Ryiah

The man sits in a room upstairs in the nomad looking between the two replies
"Hm.....I enjoy being on the frontlines more than being a guard... But as a bodyguard perhaps I could eventually find out how the island is run or the factions that make it up and so forth, even make a few friends...." He reads them over once more and decides to contact Ryiah...
