Next to the path, sitting atop a rather splintered pole, is a head, with rather a contorted and suprised expression on his face, and a holy symbol stuck in it's mouth. The rest of the body is missing, appearing to have been burnt away.

Anyone recognizing it would know it to be that of Jaric, the Triadic Knight.
