Citizens and visitors beware:

There has been banditry and robbery on the main cart route.
Four individuals - three women and one man - blocked the road just beyond the tree arch in the frontier just north of Cordor, set up for ambush where they could not be seen until it was too late to withdraw without their notice.
They demand a "dragon tax" and threaten the lives of those who do not comply - they threaten those who will attempt to retreat back to the city. At least three wore hoods to hide their faces - all were of approximately elven or human height.

- One of the lawless is shapeshifter who assumed the form of a blue dragon, and later the form of a slaad. A clear look was not had of this one in humanoid form.

- One is a man dressed in a dark layer of clothing and wielded two slender blades wreathed in a magic that had red radiance. He was quick and silent, able to hide from sight.

- One is a loud woman who was dressed in dark gray attire; a tunic belted at the waist over pants and with loose sleeves, no skin exposed. She spoke the most and was the mouth piece for the others, insisting upon the absurd terms to force the theft or suffer harm. She demanded our names for later retaliation and "suggested" that a companion be left behind for her vile predations in exchange for the rest of us having safe passage.

- One is a woman is an accomplice who wore a long, closed robe and blue colors.

South of Bendir Dale, on the main road through the orc lands was a man positioned and enchanted in a manner similar to the four described above and was most probably a bandit as well, and was duly avoided.

Please use the carts to travel that stretch of road and remain fleet of foot.
I will not pen my name, nor those of my colleague, here for the bandits to find.
I will, however, speak of this event to city officials in person if they wish it.

Crow, being along both of these routes, coming or going to his patrols, would notice the sign and make a few notes. "This won't last long, sooner or later they will tire of paying someone to raise them so often." he smirks

A large man in steel armor and the red knights symbol emblazoned on his cloak, can be seen to have set up camp at the site of the ambushes. His greatsword held in one hand, he watches the night by the side of his fire

A shadow steps past the gate and stares at the notice cracking his knuckles. "So this is how we're going to play, huh? Then it begins."
