Tuomas leaves a note with the Salandrans: This man had been lured out of Kohlingen by a Fey whom turned out to be a suspected Malarite shifter. When she revealed herself I attempted to subdue or delay here so he could run but I fear he insisted on remaining. She'd said she wished to see the forest where the Malarites where as this was breaking the cycles. Though I know on sight I would recognize the woman in her believed natural form I fear my memory is a bit hazy as I fear I myself was felled in the fighting but thankfully raised by a Tormtaran named Saethe who happened along. We recovered him from the Forest where Malarite lycanthropic beings are found to be in earnest. I would advise for safety's sake he be checked for Lycanthropy as soon as possible. Tuomas Valo Later on , after leaving he sends a copy of his Treatise on the Celestial Virtues for Arion to read at leisure. |

Those examining the body of the wounded, might find that the elf has a gruesome, three pronged slash across his neck. More visibly, his bicep has been stripped to the bare bone of all flesh. Finally there is a grievous animal bite, a chunk that looks to have removed most of his thigh's muscle. |

*Arion passes most of the cycle under Ashlynn's care, participating half-willingly in a gruesome and painful Ilmateri healing operation that restores functionality to his body. As time passes, with the aid of Kael and Phyr'tana, he emerges from the temple to limp on down his road, to recover in Bendir Dale before the Midsummer festivities bring happy activity to the dale. As he leaves the Salandran temple grounds however, he takes a look back to the recovery ward.. a look of more sadness and apology than happiness, before turning back on down the road down which the fates lead. Back at the Dale, he attempted for a very long time to put down in verse his thoughts about the experience he went through, but after constant crumpled up papers in the trash bin, he instead writes a more general poem for his book, and saves a more accurate description for cycles to come* |
