A note is stabbed into various places around Amia with a adamantium jeweled dagger in every neutral, and good city. "I will begin my hunt. I will very shortly murder or rob eighteen roadwalkers to appease N'esr. Tread safely travelers." |

Out on her usual walk across the island, Salema sees one note and stops. Blinking, the fair tempered cleric reads it quickly, her eyebrows raising. Ohhh nonono that is not good... why? she murmurs, gripping her staff tighter and looking around her as she continues onward. ---------- At another location, an armored man reads one. Daisy Goodluck has little interest in silly human notes... some human or other is always threatening to kill some other human, no news here. She does, however, start a collection of adamantium jeweled daggers. |

One tall, lithe yet musuclar guard removes this notice and returns in a whole 'nother outfit, watching where the post was and looking to see if the person returns. He occasionally walks between the North Gate and the West Gate, as well as visit the Docks. He'd alrt the other normal staioned guards of this note as well.. |

*rania spots the notice and reads it then looks around nervously, after making sure that no one is around that is threatening she takes the dagger, she proceeds to walk around collecting the jeweled daggers and calling shadows to conceal her anytime she is approached, she leaves the notices.* |

A note is left by this one When you spill the blood to appease your god and devote yourself to a desperate task of debauchery and murder so openly, it is naught but a plea for death and showing that you are naught but a thug you disgusting little sack of dung. An insignia resembling a horned black dragon curled around a sword is sketched at the bottom of the note. |

Pilineth irritatedly removes these notices from the dale. There had been enough scare mongering in the place to last a lifetime. ------------------------- If any are found near or around Runedar Foilinar would tear them down, melt the dagger down and fashion a blade from it. This blade is then peirced through a new note saying "Piss the fuck off" |

Any who pass between the orc valley and Bendir will notice a severed gauntleted hand clutching an empty bag hanging attached to yet another dagger on the side of a cliff. A small note reads: "One who wouldn't readily relinquish his coin purse. That makes the count at two robbed. The next two will die. Perhaps the roads should be watched closer, my friends. Hm." The note is clearly mocking the readers and guards alike. Those who'd look at the grass would notice a faint trail of blood leading to the orc caves nearby, however on further examination one may notice the blood stops there rather abruptly at the hidden entrance to the underdark. |

A note is left in Cordor, Tarkuul and in various places on the road save for Bendir Dale. I have a spike just for your head thug. You shame anyone who may worship any "evil" gods by showing that you're willing to hide behind boasts and in shadows. I know you're there and I am coming for you. There is but one reply made in Cordor in the dead of night. "You amuse me sir, you truly do. I do admire your art work, but you insult me. And to think hiding in the shadows is a bad thing. "Evil" can go to hell, along with you. Oh, yes that would satisfy me. I do hope you find me soon." |

Late that very same night, a silent figure spies upon an original notice. Spotting the name N'esr, it's eyes widen. In the distance laughter could be heard emanating from that spot. To anyone hearing it, the echoing laughter would sound almost like a jester's... tinged with madness. |

Another note is posted outside Uhm, where there can be seen two dead men with their faces horribly disfigured. No note is left this time, but the same two adamantine daggers. |

The men outside of Uhm are taken in by a stony-faced woman, her single eye narrowed in anger, to see if she can identify them. The daggers are kept, for scrying. |

HAving some quiet time to himself, Tuomas prepared and invoked a Greater Scrying spell using the Daggers as a sympathetic focus, reaching out to look and find where the person linked to them might be at present, or whatever else he might see through the Scrying. A young drow woman with a harp in her arms and a lute strung to her side picks one of these notes. Aftera few moments of a thoughtful gaze skyward a somewhat large grin comes across her face. Withdrawing her portal wand, she quickly disappears. |

Quite a while later a few adamantine daggers are placed outside of the Cordor entrance to the Amia Frontier. Two figures resting on logs, one covered in web and half eaten by a spider is carefully placed on one side of the frontier's entrance from Cordor and another who's face seems to be carved clean to a ghastly smiling skull on the other. They both seem to point toward the forest with their thumbs. Between them is a single sign that reads; Quote: "This way to hell."

On a trip to Kampos Storehouse kacha pauses to read one of the letters, asks about the victims and shakes her head thinking to herself that she will have to get ahold of Floriane and a few Shrine members to try and find this roadside killer. A very dark very drow side of her suddenly making her smile at the thought of the killer (who ever they might be) being ripped limb from limb by a lynch mob of zealous justice obsessed people. |
